Exploration. What Ship do you use?

Basicly it depends on what kind of exploration you plan on doing and more to the point in what kind of space. However the best all rounder is still easily the tengu. Also don't scan with you're combat ship get an alt.

I use a arbitrator. Gets the job done and I'm not too worried about getting hunted down.

Someone else mentioned bringing into to low-sec some swap out stuff, thats exactly what I do.

I use a warp stab to get to where I'm going, then toss on a codebreaker as the most common things I find
are radar sites.

If I find a arch site, then toss on a analyser and a salvager.

Pilgrim would be sweet though, I just can't afford to fly it.

Armor tanked Myrmidons aren't too shabby for exploration. You can fit a cloak and launcher in the highs, codebreaker and analyzer in the mids, rig it for exploration, and still fit a decent tank and offense.

A hurricane can be fit similarly, but you'll be using artillery rather than drones for DPS.

The only real advantage of a Pilgrim is that it can slip past gate camps.

I mean, I have an alt that can capably scan sites down for me, but I was kinda hoping that there would be an all-in-one out there. I guess short of a Cov-Ops Offensive system T3 I won't get what I'm looking for.

On a side note, on my original "LOL THE PILGRIM SO BAD" - It could be worse, I could be trying to do it with ANY other Force Recon lols.

Ishtar can do 8/10 Guristas. up to about 1800 passive shield regen against guris. - its a brick though. There is 1 particular site with a amssive EM torp that you can't do though. it's a pain. Might be the maze?

I use an Assault Drake. Its funner than using a tiny scanner frig, especially with the inferno update.

The assault missiles have terrible range though...
