UI Functionality request: Neocom Inventory

Could you please change the Neocom so whatever Cargo/Dronebay/other window of your inventory you have open when you hit the "Inventory button" it just opens the main window instead of just highlighting the cargohold seperation you've got open?

Example: I have my fuelbay in a seperate window, as I always want to keep an eye on it when I'm jumping around.
Now I dock, and seeing as I have the habit of closing windows before I undock I need to reopen my "main" inventory.

But there is problem, it just highlights the small fuelbay I've got opened. What I need to do is, first close the fuelbay.. then hit the inventory button again, and voila... there is my main Hanger back where it should be at the correct size. Could you please "unmerge" or whatever it is the neocom does the Main inventory button from the stacking cargoholds/dronebays etc?

I know Alt-C also does this.. but why can't I just press the button??? I want to press the button Punkturis.. I really do.

Oh, also please turn off the auto-width-resizing of the index. It's just quite stupid.
I make it a certain width for a reason.. just fix it in that position until I resize it again.

These issues should be resolved on the current Singularity build. The Primary window is now it's own button on the Inventory, all other windows gather under a new location on the Neocom with a unique icon. The width of the tree view will remember its width separately in station and in space.

It's available via a tooltip at the moment.

We have been pushing for iteration time on the Neocom so hopefully we can fix some grievances players have with it.

Yes it is available as a tooltip but for some of us who do not live in the same timezone as CCP it would be very nice to have it back on screen without having to move the mouse over the clock each time we make a new bookmark.

Hiya, I was hoping that this solved the width issue, but it didn't. Maybe I wasn't completely clear.

If you open your market window, you have the browser on the left.
If you resize the entire window, this browser stays the same width. (Unless I select it and make wider)

If I open my character sheet, you have the "browser" on the left under your portrait.
If I resize the entire window, this browser stays the same width. (Unless I select it and make wider)

If I open my mail, you've got the "inboxes" on the left.
If I resize the entire mail window, this browser(inboxes list) stays the same size. (Unless I select it and make wider)

Same goes for, people and places, corp & alliance contacts, available contracts.

But no, for some reason the Browserindex of the Unified Inventory scales with the width of the entire window if you resize the window.

I would like this browser/index to stay the same width when the entire window is resized, and let its horizontal resizing be "optional" instead of forced. I mean, the height of the filters stays the same. Please also do this for the width of this column.

I think it would be nice to show the local time, and the GMT time in the Neocom. Same goes for the calendar - showing equivalent times based on a timezone you specify or from the system timezone.

Except it appears as if they are considering it wholey completed at this stage.

The complete lack of dev response on inventory changes over the past couple of weeks is just sad.

It is not finished, but i think because everyone is tired of giving them the same feedback over and over, there is no longer the swarm of feedback saying "fix this"...also partly b/c they haven't seemed to be really listening. I know i'm tired of posting the same things each patch and watching the dev's avoid confronting the issues raised.

I hope that this two week break from them interacting with us isn't another round of them fail-testing in-house like the two weeks before TQ launch.
