Well.... long story short, the adrenaline rush caused me to shoot and kill my Corp Leader/FC.

Let me link the kill mail.

Lol.

He was my First Kill, HAHAHA.

Congrats on the kill.

Some people want to murder their Leader/FC/Boss/That Guy and you went through with it on your first time around I think you are a prime example of what a Eve player is. I'm just going to ignore that this was a so called "accident" according to you.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

A few that I recall early on, still at the "noob" stage

1) Obeying a FC's order to shoot at a Concord ship (and not knowing the consequence)!

2) When you see a contact log-off, hence red on bottom right corner of screen, at the time I thought that meant that person was after you to kill you! Panic ensued

3) Saw a yellow can marked "Free Plex" and actually believing whatever's inside was free, and thinking I'd have enough time to flee....NOT! cloaky ship spanks me.

4) Mining way to long before I realized crystals make a big differance!

Past the "noob" stage........

1a) Actually falling for a scam in Amarr, buying what I thought was a Caracal Navy Issue, which of course was just a regular Caracal X I blame that one on a long day and a tired brain, cuz I know/knew better. Shocked

Guarding High Sec WH entrance in my Tengu on a comp with no sound while watching my 4 yr old daughter. Never heard the hole activate and looked back in time to see my hull trailing smoke as 6 targets ripped me apart. That was expensive stupidity!

Was running a Talos through high sec with -3 sec standing without too much trouble. Jumped into Yulai without thinking much of it.

Apparently, Yulai is a bit different than other systems in that the NPC police there aren't just NPC police with Concord skins. They are actually Concord. As soon as I decloaked I was given a GCC that I did not notice but managed to warp away just fine. Was quite surprised when I got to the exit gate and received a message telling me I couldn't jump due to being a criminal. Tried to warp off; received the same message. Looked to the top of left corner to see the red GCC; thought to myself 'well that's interesting!' and promptly popped.

No matter how long you have played this game for something awesome always happens occasionally, for better or worse, that you have never seen and you just have to sit back and think 'fair enough!'. I love it.

I think I can win this. Roll

On my first day in Eve, I wanted to see what other solar systems looked like. All I'd seen so far was the Cistavert station and the nearby asteroid belts. So, in my intrepid rookie ship, I bravely selected the Alentene gate and pressed warp. Unfortunately, a message appeared on the screen explaining my ship's capacitor couldn't warp that far, and I was dumped out in deep space.

Assuming this ship was not up to the task, I turned around and went back to the station, and began mining to earn enough money to purchase a ship capable of getting me out of the system. I was severely disappointed when I found my brand new Navatis couldn't get the job done either. It wasn't until I got my Tristan that I was able to reach a gate.

TL,DR: I was trapped in my starter system for four and a half days by my own stupidity. Oops

(My only defense is that we didn't have very good tutorials back then.)

What's your "OMG I feel like such a noob" story?

When I first started playing this game, was doing a level 1 mission - Break Their Will - and after destroying the Repair Outpost saw someone in local chat saying they were gonna kill me for doing that. I quickly docked and told corp chat that someone threatened me in local chat.

After I copy/paste the threat message into corp chat, I was informed with lol's that the message (Colored text) was actually NPC's in the mission, not real players.

Oops
