Custom resolution in windowed mode to have width less than 1024 - possible?

For multiboxing purposes I need to make Eve client width less than 1024 in windowed mode. However using tools for window resize such as Brianapps Sizer, I cant reduce window size to be less than 1024 in width (though I can resize to arbitrary resolution)... However...

If I run Windows in 800x600 resolution and start Eve windowed, it will indeed resize itself to 1024x768 minimum, unless I... maximize the window in windows 7, then it will be both windowed and correctly resized to 800x600. However I need that or similar size in higher resolution.

Also the same seems to be the problem with the height which is 768 pixels or more.

No, the minimum supported resolution of the client is 1024x768. We also don't recommend third-party tools to accomplish this as the client or your computers stability is not guaranteed.

The best way I accomplish this task (since CCP will not support resizing to any size window) is to run EVE in a virtual desktop window and have the game be full size for whatever resolution you need inside the virtual window.

Yes, frame rates will be lower because of the overhead of the virtual environment but the only real solution besides paying for multibox software's annual fees...

And if you don't have Windows 7 and their virtual environment, there are free ones too.

For me its not about the graphics that draws me to EVE, It's the game play.
Single widescreen monitor with two eve clients in virtual windows side by side.

And yes this is a month old post but I was looking to see if there was another way than how i was accomplishing this.
