You screwed up capitals; no super, you don't form up. And if you think this is 'balanced' then **** on you. It's ********.

Thank you to the person who pointed out my errors!

Legitimate power projection is legitimate.

After all, if you find yourself in a fair fight in eve, your doing it wrong.

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

I think I fixed that for you.

And supers became the power fleet of alliances. This should never have happened...

Perhaps you would care to explain how CCP has affected capital ships with specific examples?

Are you serious... Have you looked at supers? And how that's effected null, fleet compositions, projection of power (already stated)... ect... ect...

What exactly do you do?

That's still isn't helpful.

He is asking what specifically has CCP done that has negatively effected Caps, or their usability.

"Just look at them" is not a suitable response to such a request.

Lets look at eve as if its a hill side-

You start in a rookie ship, this is the bottom of the hill side. You gradually come up into a frigate and then destroyer, nice smooth slope here. Then you get into t2 frigs and destroyers, a slight upward climb on the power hill, cruisers and t2 cruiser hulls, battle cruisers, battleships. You get a nice fairly balanced upward slope here. Carriers are pretty well balanced with battleships and down, but dreads you get a huge jump on the slope. This was done to provide somewhat of a counter to supers. Then you get to supers, where this hill turns into Mount Everest. In HP, power, and cost. Supers were rare, now if you don't have a super you are limited to sub cap ships. So you tell me what they did.

CCP put stuff in the game & now you're mad because you can't adapt several years after the fact.

Now that I have informed this player of what CCP did, please close this awful thread.

It's not been several years, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Super buff- they made supers god like. It was rare to see supers really die, they became the blob.
Supers did everything, and did it well. They got more HP and became more capable.
This is where the NC was face rolled

CCP did a knee jerk nerf to a poorly thought out buff, slightly made dreads more capable against supers... but not really.

Capitals are still broke after this, carriers are rarely used in major engagements. They have become PVE ships of choice. Dreads... hell whens the last time you seen a fleet of dreads and carriers?

So, what did they add years ago that is listed here? Do you even know what I'm talking about?

What I'm saying is the idea and concept that was the titan and super carrier is no longer what it was. They NEED to be reworked PROPERLY, and the guy who suggested the initial buff to supers stripped and flogged. The capabilities, HP, and cost need adjusted to the current state of eve...

And what do you bring to fight that? More supers and more ships. The blobbing is a mechanic caused by ccp.

Does describe what we have now? Huge fleets of 'behemoths'? If eve used newton based physics these fleets would cause the solar system to orbit them.

It's us, making everything about blobbing.

No e-honoure, no ~elite pvp~, it's just a titan blob.

If you have an idea for how to rework Super capitals, feel free to post your ideas in features and Ideas. That is one of the fastest ways to get your idea/message heard.
