I am seeking a few people who I can join up with to do some exploration sites in wormholes. I have ok skills and can find radar and other sites in wormholes, but I am not comfortable killing the sleepers by myself. I am currently in Essence space. Please PM me.

OP you need to be careful with this. Someone would love to get you to "fleet" with them in a WH just to blow you up. You should look for a wormhole corp. Alternatively you could find some people in essence, build trust and then decide to go inside a WH with them. But do not just jump in a wormhole with someone you just met you could be getting yourself into some trouble. All this is assuming,as the guy above said, you yourself aren't setting up a trap.

I have no clue why people keep posting this kind of BS. In wormholes, you generally do not have to worry about neutrals. You simply dont. Everyone in wormholes is too busy making money to worry about killing other people.

Just shout in local in whatever high sec you find your WHs in and you will find some willing participants. Or you can hit me up in game. I dual box when I team up with randoms to run sites. My carebearing ship, and a devoter I sit on our exit hole so that no one can get the drop on us quickly. We simply warp out while they chew through my beefy devoter tank. Been running the tengu hic combo for years, never failed me before.

I would never post harmful information for our cute little newbies to die horribly by following. I hold the newbies life in wormholes with the utmost care and consideration for their well being.

Other helpful hints to the op. If going solo, it is best to state your intentions in local first. Try somthing like. "dont worry guys, I just want to run a few of your sleeper sites. That usually ends welll.

i've been killed in WHs and i've met friendlies in WHs, ive zipped to the exit hole with a cloaky targetting and opening fire on me as i jump through countless times. i don't say crap in j-local. the one exception to this was when i actually owned the wormhole, was safely inside my POS and greeted the visitors i had.

i still love wormholes and am mostly interested in eventually seeing more of the pvp aspect, but for now i feel i am rightfully vigilant of anything that pops up on d-scan. (i still don't even have cov-ops/T3 cruiser) the added danger is what makes it fun, even if i am in practically disposable ships, i still don't want to give people free kills. they must at least put in some effort. not just "ok warp to me i'm at the site, broadcasted target - BLAP-killmail. thanks for fleet" Lol

I dont know what's worse, the fact that my obvious trolling was believed to be genuine advice, or that it wasn't the noobs who believed I was trying to help.

I seriously need to lie down now.

To the OP, I recommend you take a look [Notable Wormhole Space Alliances and Corporations]. Teaming up with random people, which works fine for missions and high sec Incursions, can and will get you killed in W-space. Running about in a wormhole with a group of people requires a large amount of trust. The most you'd be able to do is day trip and even then, there are plenty of variables to worry about. My recommendation is that you get into one of those corps/alliances mentioned above and go from there.
