Simple question, but I haven't been able to get a straight answer.

Is it possible to scan the contents of the Orca's Ship Maintenance Bay and Corporate Hangar?

I know that their contents are self-destructed upon ship loss, but this is the one question I can't get an answer for. Some people keep telling me that you can't scan either. Others say you can scan both since some update.

Is any orca pilot with an alt actually willing to test this with their own ship and a cargo scanner and find out, please? I need an up-to-date answer.

Don't know about the ship maintenance bay - but the corporate hangars cannot be scanned by players. You are not home free however as contents of the corporate hangars can still be scanned by NPC border agents looking for illegal cargo when you jump - that was a change made by CCP last year if I recall to plug a loophole.

Also, if you blow up, corporate hangars still don't drop any loot unlike the other bays who have a partial chance.

Well, okay, I guess. I'll do a test with someone's Orca tomorrow and maybe have a final answer. Thanks, all.
