Incursion nerf and Wall of OTAs killed the NULL/LO sec Incursions and is strangling whats left of the heardcore Incursion runners. Hope you come back after a bit looks like some changes are promised Soon(TM). I took a short unsub break myself & after heard some more changes are in the works after another 2 months. Escalation fixes will probably get pushed back though while the later Inferno gets immediate attention.

Ruby already decimated you, thread over.

If it's about comraderie and fun, not isk, shouldn't you still run incursions with your comrades?
Shouldn't doing something fun outweight a more effective isk-source?

I understand the need for efficiency if you don't enjoy what you're doing, or rather, if you enjoy something else more, but you need the isk for that particular other activity.

But if you can still earn isk, even if not as profitable as those missions, but you enjoy the comraderie and the fun, as opposed to the missions you call boring, shouldn't you still do it?
Edit: I mean, there are people engaging in activities which -burn- isk because they are fun, and then they have to earn the isk back. So shouldn't the complete "fun and gives isk at the same time"-package be a godsend, even if the isk part isn't as efficient as it could be?

I can only conclude that this was about the isk after all.
Or that you didn't express yourself clearly. I'm not familiar with the changes to incursions, as I am not playing for very long. Is there something else which made them less enjoyable besides being less isk-efficient? Them being harder, as you mention, sounds to me like it should just be a more fun challenge requiring more comraderie.

So if there is something else, maybe you should mention that instead of the isk-efficiency :)

You still didn't say why you don't do these Incursions anymore. What do you need more isk for if you don't have fun, and instead could engage in the fun activity?

Only reason I can partially read from what you've written is that you are the only one feeling like this and most other people did it for the isk, so you don't have anyone to do Incursions with anymore?

1) Show me how suicide roams line my pockets.

2) So, it was about the money. If it were really about the Camaraderie, you'd still be doing them and noticing that they are better income than l4s, just not as convenient. The dissolution of the big communities proved that the only reason for their existence was to farm the ridiculously broken income for as long as possible.

3) Then don't gate camp for hours on end. If you enjoyed incursions, they're still there.

4) They're still there, they're just not broken anymore.

5) What the hell does the AT have to do with your incursion whine thread?

It's not about the ISK...no wait! It really is!

Side Note: Tribes:Ascend is cool, but it will never require the amount of teamwork and coordination that Starseige: Tribes or Tribes 2 required. Since it's a free-to-play game with "pay to win" weapons for certain classes, it is falling victim to morons and idiots with no sense or inclination of teamwork flooding the servers and killing an otherwise enjoyable title.

I played Golden Eye Reloaded the other day(i still play the orignal on one of my N64s) on ps3. Kind of sucked! Just another Rainbow 6 rip off like pretty much every shooter game. Which got me thinking about Gran Turismo again. Why can't I get an updated GT 2 with modern graphics and cars. Not interested in your new improved features.

My opinion each addition of GT sucks a little more. GT 5 you have to download something to make playing quicker, takes about 45 minutes to do. About all the time I'm willing to put into it. Come back a month later when I'm bored. Take about 1,000 driving test and still can't race. Out of time. Come back a few months later, have to run an update. Update takes forever and fails. Try it again, for the same results. Put that piece of crap in the box and sell it on ebay.

Don't even get me started on NFS!

Wargaming has pretty much ruined WoT.

Zero damage hits that, instead f being a bug, are a feature "working as intended". Idiotic teams. New game modes that fail miserably on the old maps. The IS-7 turned into a paper bag with a gun. The list goes on and on.

The state of World of Tanks is why I reactivated my Eve account. As much as CCP does that can be termed as "ruining the game", it takes going to a game where the developers really ARE ruining it to realize that Eve isn't all that bad.

Of course it couldn't possibly be about the isk for them. I mean, when incursions were changed so you couldn't farm 35mil for killing 10 NPC's, it just wasn't about the isk at all. It was about.... Yeah, it was all about the isk fountain.

I could understand the point of view from Low/Nullsec incursion runners as they had to do things a lot differently. However, the highsec incursion runners were the whole reason for the nerf as the average incursion poop-socker was making 1bil per day for killing less than 100 NPC's in highsec.
