So I have a Paladin right now fitted w/ T2 Tachs and Faction Heat Sinks and the rest T2 and it's good but I find the tracking isn't spectacular (Don't tell me to get a nightmare cuz I won't) so I was if I should buy like a Napoc for missions like the Blockade for increased tracking and stuff.

Or is there another Amarr BS I should look at? (I'm pure amarr)

I suggest use mega pulses II with scorch on your paladin for when you need good tracking (or just all the time). Fit a couple tracking computer and you'll have about 60km optimal with really good tracking.

I might have to try that but Napoc can reach to 80km w/ Scorch so..

I don't envy your task of fitting t2 tachs on Paladin, with its grid being what it is...

Try Nightmare. Any other Amar boat's going to be limited to megapulse instead of tachs.

Stick with beams with Sansha L4 Blockade. The beam falloff and manual alignment will help you hit those cruisers as NPC TD only dampens the optimal & tracking - not falloff.

You don't get such a luxury with pulses with its short falloff. Don't bother using it.

Another way to handle TD in L4 blockade is to warp at 100km and bookmark it. Warp to the opposite direction and warp back in again at 100km, bookmark the second warpin. You will have 2 sniper points which you can ping-pong in-between while in the site.

Hmm Interesting

EDIT: Now is there any time you'd want to have a web or two on the paladin. I tried having 2 T2 ones on the Blockade but I still had trouble hitting the TDing Cruisers >.>

true, it has more range than a pulse paladin, but also a lot less damage and only better tracking if you script the paladin for optimal in which case tracking doesnt really matter because npc transversal is low anyhow. i honestly think you will find the navypoc, as cool as it looks, a step back performance-wise. also it uses more ammo and doesnt have the quite useful utility-highs.

now im using the paladin for shorter range missions. for longer range missions i fly a nightmare. believe me its a great ship and while the paladin is a viable tach platform, the nightmare somehow feels more "comfortable", when fitted with tachs. if you find the looks of the nightmare not absolutely hideous, give it try. anyways thats the pulse fit:

[Paladin, pulse]
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Imperial Navy Heat Sink

I would guess that you dont need the web if your using it for sansha or blood only. just switch it for an ab . for mercs though its great!
