Bounties, which are the best?

Hey everyone,

What I'd like to know if which bad guys provide the best bounty paycheck.

Serpentis, Angels, Raiders etc etc

Because of the two I mainly run into Angels en Serpentis I feel bounties are much better on Serpentis ships.

I am sure it all equals out with loot etc but if you ONLY care about the bounties does one stand out over the others?

The more rat battleships in the mission, the better the bounties.

I think mercenaries bs rats have the worst bounties.

The Dread Pirate Scarlet, Gone Berserk, unauthorized mining or some such, Recon 1/3. There are a few other missions. Great pay in bounties.

I agree, but missions like Recon, Assault and Blockade can be done agianst different factions.

Is there a bounty difference between Serpentis Blockade, Angels Blockade etc etc

Is there a difference in bounties depending on against who you do these missions?

I don't think so.

However, I have observed that missions have built in modifiers. You can do the same mission in a row and get slightly different spawns each time. Like AE4, in first room and get two generals and one commander bs, do it again next day and you get three generals. So there is some variation build into the missions and that will effect the bounties.

Yeah that I did notice, but I know certain factions drop better loot as a balance effect I figured some would give better bounties.

So guess its just waiting for someone who has ran these missions agianst different factions cause I havent.

That or a CCP answer but that seems unlikely lol

Among major pirate races, Guristas and Angels have the lowest hp among same bounty ships. Blood Raiders have the highest.

Of course, it wouldn't feel this way if you're flying a laser boat.

EOM rats have the lowest hp compared to similar bounty (EOM bounties are round numbers, as minor faction mission rats added after main factions) rats of all major pirate factions.

I'm drone boating with a Rattler and sadly must say I've never felt Angel ships to go down quickly. Then again I dont carry explosive drones cause my drone bay is full with Wardens, Ogres and Wasps.

While i have no real proof outside of personal experience, it seems that for me rat bounties are higher or lower depending on the sov of the area your in. For instance, in gallente space serps seem to have higher bounties, where as in minmatar space angels have higher bounties. Im not sure if this is due to there being "more difficult" serp rats in gallente(and vice versa for angel/minmatar) or if its just random chance that it fell that way tho.

Interesting thought, there might actually be something to that considering I think angels pay lousy and serpentis great but I am in Gallente space and angels are only a few of my missions.

If you are missioning for isk, Rattler is not very efficient.

It is on 4 accounts all AFK while I watch a movie lol, hence why I care about the bounties.

mercs have awful bounties, bu they used to be full of m0 loot.

and all rats have the same bounties just different missions will throw different tiers of them at you. unauthorized military presence vs blood raiders has mostly 300-400k bounty battleships, but a blockade vs blood raiders will have a bunch of mil+ rats.

mostly depends on where you are as to which mission pool you get and where the big bounties are, and of course there are a few big missions that go everywhere, although often have a slightly different faction flavor.

angel NPC travel faster than the other, so they are a little harder. Switching to explosive damage will make life easier also.

Firstly, there is some variance in the bounties for all mission rats. From mission to mission and area to area, there will be some difference.

That said...in my experience:

Serpentis and Sansha are generally the best (all BS rats have 800-900k+ bounties; Sansha routinely go over 1M).

Guristas are BY FAR the worst (all BS in the 400-500k range).

I must say I've liked Serpentis so far, I only see Guristas in the Serpentis version of Worlds Colide and funnily enough they have very high bounties in that one. Many BSs over 1mil...

In any case the main 4 spaces are

Gallente space, Serpentis and some Angels
Minmatar space, Angels and some ???
Amarr space, Sansha and some ???
Caldari space, Guristas and some ???

This excludes Drones, Murdus, EoM and Mercs because you get those everywhere or are some of those linked especially to Gallente space as well?

Since I only really worked in Gallente space, I dont know the other faction(s) of the other spaces. Can anyone fill in those blanks for me?

Basicly I am making my question a little bigger, if considering only bounties which part of Empire is the best place to be? Or is the general forum thinking that it makes almost no difference?

If you reply can you please mention in which space(s) you've missioned? Cause I can personally only claim that for Gallente space which makes my view to limited to answer my own question.

Minmatar space, Angels and Serpentis
Amar space, Sansha and Blood Raiders
Caldari space, Guristas and Sansha

Drones, merics and Eom occur everywhere. Modrus in Gallante and Minmatar space. Exceptions apply. Mixture for agents in nonnative racial space.

Thanks for filling in some of those blanks, do you also have an idea where the best place to be is? Bounty wise?

From your reply I get the sense you've missioned in different places.

ps if Mordus is Gal/Min space does Cal/Ama space have something like them to compensate?

Do keep in mind that, for missions anyway, certain factions being in certain areas is not concrete. I get the occasional sansha mission in Sinq Laison, for example.

I know some flukes happen but I mainly get Serpentis with a little angels. I am sure each part of space or atleast each corp has their own little victim pool.
