The new Tormentor - Anyone actually using this?

Just asking out of curiosity really, since the change to the Tormentor has anyone actually been flying it? Messed around with it a bit in EFT and not massively impressed here but not tried it.

Thoughts from anyone who has?

It's most important feature is that it's currently the only Amarr frigate with 3 midlsots (except the crucifier, which will incinerate if another ship looks at it funny). This makes it the only real t1 tackle option for Amarr until the rest of the frigates are brought in line.

I used a fail fit Tormentor against a decently fit Punisher (fail fit being t1 ammo, beams, active rep, and didn't overheat).

I almost got him to hull.

Doing some EFT experimenting showed that it can possibly handle any of the 4, except maybe the new Merlin.

Just have to be creative with the fitting, and expect to use a CPU rig.

I use it, mainly to catch plexing Minmatars

Yeah, it is really fast for an Amarr frig.
