Hello Pod Jockeys.

Having just started the game and dabbled a bit, one of the bits of advice that came up more than once was the advantages of having an alt. Regardless of what I did, I was told it would be very handy to have a dedicated money maker.

So I did just that.

My question then is..

Is there anyway to check how much money there is on the inactive account?

Stupidly, I let it expire and sadly I don't have the API for it and now can't get it because the account is inactive. I'm wanting to see how much was on it, to see how much it would then need for a game card or whatever.

You could petition and hope you get a helpful GM.

You can activate your account with "hours for PLEX" in the account managagement.

You have then four hours to check your balance. Although I don't know if you can trade/create contracts or send money ...

Don't forget to create an API key Big smile

But if you use this just for checking your account ISK balance, and don't activate it with PLEX during that 4 hours, you can't use this option again without asking GM to reset it.

Hello Ninker,

Your best bet would be to file a petition. You can use the Hours for PLEX feature in the account management system, of course, but if you fail to apply a PLEX during that time you will be unable to use it in the future.

The API allows for viewing of such information. EveMon can show this but I don't know if it only shows it on active accounts.

I believe that the API only functions for currently subscribed accounts.

This is correct. The account must be active to be able to do an API lookup.
