they aren't amazing, but they don't seem all that bad

and for a bunch of matches what was on the wall really was the most interesting thing to talk about...

Boltens god awful, but thats his charm, so I like him as a commentator, usually makes for entertainment between matches during the finals.

Met him a few times too, hes exactly like how you'd expect in person and a "God" when playing Rockband.

Into the second weekend now.. how do you rank these guys? Here's my rankings:

#1 - Raivi: Still well rounded.. still good overviews of the action, and pertinent comments on how the teams were matched up.

#2 - Zastrow: Giving him second just on having the ka-ho-nas to wear a tux and eye monocle!..and yes.. he didn't screw up any calls.. but I still like "Vindy" for a Vindicator better than "WINdicator"! {grin}

#3 - Lazarus Telraven: Stuck to the facts,focused on the play-by-play. Dropped the ball a few times but settling in after only his second weekend as a broadcaster.

#4 - Kil2: Suffered at times from "information lag".. and hasn't been as smooth this weekend while working with "you know who".. YES.. I think MBIII is rubbing off on him.. RUN Kil2..RUN.. Warp away as fast as you can from MBIII before it's too late! {grin}

#5 - Michael BoltonIII: No comment.

check check despite still looking like a gay magician, Mbolt is temp forum-blue to elite Post vs Post alliance FEARLESS.

It was so dramatic an improvement, i was compelled to eve mailed bolton earlier congratulating him. his commentery was genuinely good. if kil2 and him can stop talking over each other they'll be a good commentery team.

The simmering hatred kil2 obviously has for mb3 is excellent too.

MB3 was ******* awful, talked way too fast and way too loud, didnt give the other commentator any time to talk themselves and wasted time on irrelevant talking points during every single match.

All the others were fine.

i think you watched the first week again by mistake.

zastrow was the worst commentator yesterday, mb3 was much improved and the camera work was better too. laz sounds like a robot.

MB still suffers from "not let kil2 say anything" sometimes. But yeah I have always found him to be entertaining.

He does take this stuff very seriously. He was quite happy to explain to all the teams how to handicap properly so that 4 teams could get in front of TEST from the 0-4 point matches. It may have happened anyway, idk. But he puts being a good commentator above everything else, it would appear.

Basically anything that I see Raivi, Laz, or Kil2 say in skype I will immediately say on air without any thought. Laz said something to the effect of "Oh God Missile Cyclone" and I immediately blurted it out, only to then think about cyclone fits afterward.
