Alliance Tournament with Capital Ships

I'm really enjoying Alliance Tournament X so far. It's like watching the Olympics. Great work CCP!

With that said, I would really like to see an alliance tournament that focused around capital ships. What are your thoughts?

I think large part of the AT is that they are all using ships that won't be reimbursed, so much of the time, they are using relatively cheap ships, or ships that the pilots can afford to lose.
if you were to do this with caps, there wouldn't be many entrants as it would cost so much.

There would be a lot of people entering hoping to win a one-time copy of a unique capital. Maybe a Dread with 2x dmg bonus and extended jump range.

Hear that scribbling noise? Thats the plans being drawn up to crash any Alliance Tournament held in low/null sec with large amounts of super caps. Isn't it deafening?
