seriously boring and unimaginative ship selections. sleipnirs, cyclones and merlins 80% of time X come on.. whenever i see anything else like vindicators or such its reason for small celebration. i think ASB are also very much overpowered atleast in tournament enviroment.

Just wait for the 12 man stages, we'll see more diversity then. Today is the (no offense) losers day, they have to do well to get into the group stages, so naturally they're inclined to optimize.

And as we saw, the ASB is only effective if you can deal out the dps, once you timer out, if you have any tackle on you, are screwed.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

There's some ships showing up a lot, but its always going to be true that some ships are just in the top value tier for the points.

But that said, we've seen a lot of different stuff... cyclone/sleipnir/ferox/tornado/tengu/proteus/vindicator as base. every logi except amarr. some recons. merlin/tormentor/sabre/taranis/daredevil among others as support.

It could be worse.

And there you go, suddenly Curse, putting the qualifier standard in the ownzone :D

Note: I'm watching with the sound off so I really had no clue what happened other than watching effects. Blink

this is probably bc the guardian is terrible for the tourney format. As far as the asb lots of people will try it in the 12 mans, i hope they try it against us.

Yup been a lot of Sleipnars but almost as many Cyclones and Vindys. By the way Zastrow "Vindy" sounds a lot better than "WIN"dicator.. geez.. almost as bad as the "vindicated" comment! LOL! {kidding} By my count the matches WON so far have had these ships as primary:

Sleipnirs x 11 matches
Cyclones x 8 matches
Vindicators x 8 matches
Rooks x 3 matches
Ferox x 3 matches
Machariels x 2 matches
Proteus' x 2 matches

and then
Bhaalgorn, Gila, Rattlesnake, Curse, Vargur, Absolution, Widow, Hurricaine, Talos, Tengu and Brutix all with 1 match each.

So there's actually been a LOT of variety. Fun to watch actually. Enjoy!
