I clicked the "Close Automaticly" or something like that button in the settings so it only checks for updates and closes if there is non. However now I want to look at it again but can't find a way to open the launcher and have it stay open. Any help?

on my system, it's c:\program files(x86)\ccp\EVE\launcher - then right click on launcher.exe and make a shortcut to the desktop. next time you get it to stay open, click the tools icon at the top right and hit the startup tab. there, you'll want to uncheck both of those options (only display the launcher window when there is an update, close the eve launcher after starting eve online). hope this helps.

Locate file "setting.yaml" in your EVE/launcher/cache folder. Then open it with text editor (Notepad++ or Sublime Text are preferable choice because simple Notepad is horrible) and change string "OnlyShowLauncherOnUpdate: false" to "OnlyShowLauncherOnUpdate: true"
Alternatively you can delete this settings file and on the next launch, launcher will load with default settings.

Thanks Sarmatiko, that is exactly what I was looking for.
