On a refund for the $14.99 I just paid to reactivate.

Reactivated today after a years long break. I found myself in a POS in .3 space with my expected items, which is tons of ore and agent mission items. I am not friendly to the POS so cannot sell anything or undock without death. I petitioned to have my stuff moved to another system. I was informed I could move my character, 1 ship and anything I could hold in its cargo. My ship is a Hyperion and will not hold 1/100 of what I have. Since I am basically recieving no help just curious as to my odds of a refund.

Thats just it. I would gladly sell everythying but I cant. When I try it tells me noone is willing to come there and pickup items. I cant even refine the ore due to not being liked by the POS

You can't dock at a POS, and outposts don't exist in lowsec. So I'm not sure what your problem is, really...

OP, if you can't access the market and the system's owner does not want to take you in.....Do a ba.... erm, firesale. Just sell the stuff in contracts.

I do it all the time with stuff i leave behind after long-range deployments.

Do what the others said and apply for whoever owns the space. Give up most of your crap as an offering, and then skedaddle with what you do want to keep. If that fails, send me all your isk. It'll help somehow, I'm sure.

That's not nice. People leave the game for RL reasons all the time. "Life Comes at you FAST"...

I wonder how many eve player have woke up in a hospital bed after a car accident and thought: "did my skill training finished? did the tower ran out of fuel... somebody please gime a laptop, quick"...

Get accepted into the Alliance that holds the station (or one of their Blues), and use their JF service to hump your stuff out.


PS, it helps to Jump clone somewhere else first, so you're not sitting in their station, showing up on their intel channels while you talk to the recruiter. Doesn't help much, because most recruiters are stupid, but v0v

What about contacting the owners to have them transport the items out? I'm sure if you pay enough, they would be willing to see your stuff off to its new home.

As a matter of fact, i did. Got hit by a car when i left a bus to take another on a different road and was taken to the hospital. Once there, i asked for my laptop so that i could, among other things, do EVE stuff. Lucky me i didn't had it on me when i got hit lol (lost my N95 at the time. Hey, it was some time ago lol).

EVE is cruel, and the cruel people here do everyone a favor by.. well... being cruel. Other than telling that EVE is cruel, which is also helpfull, but less effective.

Also, to the OP, -A- owns the station you're at. Your chances of getting accepted into that particular alliance is pretty good, so DO THAT.

Well thanks to all the non-trolls who replied. I will attempt to join one of the corps with an office there. Yes it is a base in 0.3 space. Its alot to take in after so long away lol. The GM gave me hope that a refund wont be much of an issue but that wil be final thing as I would like to play the game again. Thanks all(non-trolls) Big smile
