is this legit can we still use it and not get hit with the ban hammer?

i havent used it coz i dont want the hammer blow

dont need to use it but i know people that do wana use it and iv told em to hold of till ccp give a reply

It's just a basic overview pack with edited layout and as far as I know, it's still legal as long as you don't mess around with the client files or data packets.

I hope it's legit, been using something similar ever since a friend showed me how to edit the overview xml.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Therefore not changing the amount of information already existent with existent Grid, but increasing functionality for certain game styles (witch is supposed to be done by CCP, like some sort of "Overview Option Pack" )

Current Overview is so sad and bad taste I'd pay for something actually more functional and better options with less lag.
Instead CCP choose to take away our old inventory working fine, perfectly functional and without lag for the new one Roll

If you read the whole blog post there's a petition response at the bottom specifically stating it's not currently considered to be an exploit.

Yeah it's allowed. Just as much as the special fittings of jovian ships and pods with doomsdays and polaris ships were all legit.

This overview mod uses them same concepts.

Besides, did you even read the little GM response at the bottom?

Yeah, the problem was that for some reason a few months back CCP decided they'd do everyone a big favor and completely wipe all their saved fittings that were invalid. So people that had these humorous fittings saved lost them.

This. A metric ton of players use this sort of thing, since the vanilla settings are absolute garbage and even minor changes to how the info is presented improves the UI functionality significantly. It's common practice these days and you'd be stupid not to take advantage of the option.
