Have you ever wondered if it was possible to bomb a capital ship?

I have no affiliation with SoCo. I am in a little 20 or so man NPC nul corp. I post with an alt so my corp mates don't get blobbed by your 400+ man gangs, simply because I call you guys out for the cowards you are. And oh boy are you guys cowards. If TEST (the second biggest alliance in EVE) was really looking for 'gudfites' they would set red Goons (the largest alliance in EVE). You can't claim you want 'gudfites' when you have the majority of PvP players in the game set blue. You are looking to curb stomp smaller forces into the ground to make your killboard look good and grow your e-peen. Not only are you two the biggest alliances in the game, you are the two biggest alliances by some margin. But TEST would never set Goons red, because Goons would wipe the floor with TEST. It wouldn't even be a fight, Goons would destroy TEST so fast it'd make your head spin.

But that won't ever happen, because we all know TEST gives the best reacharounds, and the Goons love them for it.


You have absolutely no idea how the CFC works, not even in the most remote sense. Quite a few things you mentioned are specifically the opposite of true. For example, did you know that TEST has a wall of shame on our killboard, but no equivalent celebration of nice kills? We tend to publicly shame people and boot them from the alliance if they care too much about K/D and killmails. "LeetPvP" and the CFC DO NOT MESH WELL.

Also, Goon-TEST relations go mostly like this.

From the look of things, you're just some member of some irrelevant corp who likes to puff their chest and pretend their actions influence the gameplay of others.

Regardless how I feel about the Goon or Test, the invasion of delve was a good strategy. Those crying about the Swarm Empire need to adapt and reorganize, before they do conquer EVE fulfilling the BoB mandate.

Since this is a known bug and its being exploited, as seen in the video, Why are the offenders not being banned and Why is this thread still open?

Its always been your policy to lock threads that exploit broken game mechanics, yet you let this thread live.

The targets were friendly in the videos.

It has not been knowingly utilized on the field (very intentionally on the CFC's part).

The only times it has been used were most likely unintentional, as AAA never truly abused it. However their bombing runs that should have failed hilariously (different bomb types / 25 bombers in a single run) did end up working because of this bug.

It's been ninjafixed genius. (Partially, bombing doesn't work at all now :CCP:)

No, they're looking for fights they can win because otherwise the coalition dies of boredom.

This is the way the game's designed. The larger beat up on the smaller, numbers are numbers.

They blew up two blue carriers, with their consent, simply for the sake of having the distinction of being the first to kill a carrier with bombs. It'd be very different if we had blown up hostile triage carriers repping a tower or some sov structures or whatever with the same tactic, but at the end of the day nobody knowingly used it to gain an insurmountable advantage over other players.

I suspect that the SoCo guys who pulled off "awesome bombing runs" were totally oblivious to the fact that they would have failed hilariously if they were doing those bombing runs under pre-Inferno conditions.

I have to admit, that was very, very cool. :-) Comments based on the US anthem was even better.

Would have been more fitting if you had tried that last Wed though (or Tues over here - geez, fireworks rattled the house).


EDIT - just did a search on what Shadoo referenced (San Diego's 'fireworks display'). ShockedLol ROFL, looked like a nuke went off.
