Cannot repackage things in a station container?

This is a major flaw.

I tried to separate out all the stuff I need to contract to a hauler. I made a station container and started putting stuff in there.

Some of the stuff wasn't packaged, so I tried to package it.

The option doesn't exist to repackage assembled items if they are in a station container. You have to move them out of the station container into your normal inventory, then repackage, then move them back.

That is... frustrating.

Generally I like the idea of new inventory. I hope you continue to make improvements based on community feedback, there have been some really good ideas posted here.

Please do fix repackaging, that is a serious flaw IMO.

I understand.

It makes no sense that you can't do this though. A station container is just a big empty space where you can store things. So why not allow repackaging inside them?

It just adds many unnecessary and time-wasting steps to move all the stuff out to the main container, then locate it again, repackage it, locate it AGAIN, and move it back.

agree - very annoying for no logical reason - please fix it...

Yeah we should just scrap the station can thing and just leave general freight can and lower. We want folders D:
