Does anyone have any info about the granularity of nebula in region/constellation and how system lighting effects will affect it?

"Granularity of nebulae"? Care to elaborate on what you're talking about here? Are you referring to grainy low resolution nebula effects, or increasing the amount of nebula backdrops that we're going to be looking at in space?

Because if it's the latter I can't really imagine there'd be much of a difference; there'd just be different patterns of light bouncing off the hull.

Latter choice; by granularity, I mean increasing the number of backdrops so the same effect wasn't present across the whole region.

There was a comment in the original feedback where lighting effects could have a major influence on the backdrop to make opposite parts of the region very different. Hull/planet reflections are fair enough but I have no idea how this would look on the nebulae backdrop.

Maybe we'll find out by Winter?

I do support a granularity increase; the effect however will have nothing to do with reflections off of V3 hulls and more at making the client's size spiral out of control; not everyone has loads of space for alot of backdrops. Even though it'd definitely make space even more interesting, for sure. Maybe it'd also mean that some of the far north places won't be just the galactic disk.
