For me it was the first week of Apocrypha.

Asked in local for volunteers to try w-space. Formed a gang of 4 or 5. We were noobs - we didn't have a clue. Went through a WH and shot sleepers, gathered loot.

I divided the loot equally. We went back to Hisec.

Then everyone realised the loot was worth a fortune. Everyone was grateful and said thanks. It made me very happy Smile

single event...? when I started I was immediately recruited into my husbands corp and wisked off to null sec where I spent my first years in eve. The alliance we were in was very disciplined and well organized. I learned a ton about the game from the null sec perspecitve.. The event that shaped my whole eve life however was the day we put up one of the first outposts in our region of space - and were attacked that same day by three larger alliances including a coalition alliance; no diplomacy just vague accusations in local (none true). We held for 4 days.. taking out 60 or so battleships losing only a few smaller ships. but on the forth day the dreads came in and the system was so full of enemy players we were literally lagged out of our home.

This taught me that there will always be larger groups who will control things without discipline or actions worthy of respect by virtue of the power of the blob.

my friend and I sitting at a star in Sasha with his woman and I tell him in another window, "you should marry this girl"

at the wedding i got to see the titans,

and the lag, i dont recall who did what, but one of the devs lit up a smartbomb (im guessing) on the titan and just about crashed the system

was a good wedding, wish my friends the best in whatever realms they are in now

(the titans defined me, those i knew someday i would build)

Years in EVE - 4
Time inactive - about 8 months total

Event - The first time we attempted a Null sec roam. Flew all the way through a long low sec chain with cloaky scouts, and finally arrived in Null for the FIRST time! Woohoo!

Ooooh wait - Then a huge gang entered the system we were in and after scanning a few carriers, and multiple BS's, BC's, and every other thing that was horribly scary, promply ran away and hid from them until they found us and killed almost all of us. The whole time I swear I could hear laughing in local even though I didn't have TS3 or Vent... Smile

I was screwing around with pirate fits in my home system in low sec, one jump from empire. I had my alt out scanning and he found a wormhole... then he found a POS w/ some expensive ships hanging out inside the shield. Pretty typical so far. I was kind of bored so I decided to do a little meta research on the corp that owned the POS. I searched killboards for their members, and most of them had some variant of the same name. This told me it was one guy with LOTS of alts. This guy knew what he was doing and was farming a wormhole... it was a fair bet he had some pretty good ISK. It occurred to me that when he logged in next he would discover there was a wormhole that was one jump from empire and try to make a supply run to Jita (which was pretty close by) and would probably be loaded up w/ sleeper stuff on the way there. I added all the members to my watch list and preceded to screw around in my home system, thinking I would never be so lucky. Then they all logged in at once. I started to get excited. I cloaked my alt to watch.... a helios left the POS and came back a few minutes later. Then all these alts started getting into haulers. It was on. My onyx jumped through and put up the bubble just as they were leaving. I was like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't kill them fast enough. I got about 3 billion in sleeper loot and was thrilled. Later in the night he decided to make the supply run back, and again I was there w/ my bubble. Took out a few more and got some POS parts and some interesting cap mods. It was the finest piece of piracy I've ever done. Good research. Good hunting. Great loot. Had a surprisingly pleasant conversation w/ the owner of those accounts too. No tears... he just laughed congratulated me. It was my finest hour. Pirate
