How was your day running missions and mining? :)

I recruited another new player to the game, helped a corp mate sort out some fittings, and worked some more on my photography skills. Then I went to sleep and woke up at 7am to get ready for work. I enjoyed a cup of tea and some toast with peanut butter, then drove to work when I wanted to.

I also bummed around in an astrometrics frigate to see what I could find, and did some meditation to the sweet sweet sounds of Rettic's Sounds for Flying.

My day was fulfilling, and I got to meet some new people.

Strange coincidence coming up, but you know when she "ran out for milk" earlier today...?"

I got bored with fighting 10KM Merlin after 10KM Merlin (tank for 5 minutes, eventually drive them off with the ****-all damage blasters are doing at that range) where they just disengage after long enough and decided to see how long an Incursus could tank sentry guns.

Long enough to kill a Buzzard, as it turns out.

It was OK. I was content.

... I'd still rather be in this ass-hole end of space than Delve right now, though, but that's just me. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

I took part in a battle that involved 1600 players, over 100 billion isk destroyed from both sides.
Capital ships, supercarriers and titans were fielded.
Outnumbered 1000 to 600 and coming out on top, destroying ship after ship.

How was your day running missions and mining? :)

The battle he's referring to, both sides lost about 350 ships. Report.

The really funny part is SoCo is branding it a victory. Roll

And the CFC 'losses' in smaller skirmishes have been branded as victories, too, according to my CFCbros.

It rolls both ways.

The difference is we won the timer, and haven't lost any momentum in our steady steamroll through Delve.

I didn't know 0.0 blobs even recruited NPC corp members into their blobfests.

I wanted to write how I spent my day and how much I earned and how exciting it was - but suddenly I realized my post will spark yet another round of "nerf hi-sec!!!!" nullbears whine campaign because it will pose extreme threat to their whole lifestyle by leeching even more players out of null to hi-sec space.

So let's pretend you are right and your TiDilated blob warfare is very exciting and my hi-sec life is pointless, boring, miserable and non-profitable.

I just probed out a losec unrated site--Guristas Provisional Outpost, which is the easiest one, but that's good, because the only ship I had within 20 jumps that could pew rats is a Dramiel--a quick refit for PvE, and I got the faction spawn \o/.

No escalation, but I still scored a low-grade Crystal implant and some Guristas HAMs, so not bad for about 15-20 minutes of putzing about.

And no **** about SRS BZNS INTERNET SPACESHIPS!!!111oneoneone!! were given.

Next?

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

Today I worked for 8 hours, updated skill queues and looking forward to the weekend for some PvP in Delve.

This could be fun.

Reading a couple of posts on here, makes me see a pattern, it's all about isk........
I'm telling you, PLEX is what's killing the game, as PLEX is what is buying the bears their ships, which in turn keeps them in high, where they think their real life money investment is "safe".

Removing PLEX from the game, would probably get more people into null and higher class wormholes, but..... that's just my 2 cents

My day was quite good in RL so I don't need to overcompensate with video games.

I could have sworn the ignorant "If you're having fun with video-games, you must fail at every other facet in life" mentality died out about fifteen years ago.
