http://www.gizmag.com/valve-source-filmmaker/23180/ "Valve hands over its own movie-making tools to gamers". CCP should do the same so we can make epic EVE-based videos like the trailers.

Jessica would sure be a fun toy. But I have heard it contains lots of CCP secret sauce that cannot reach the public.

But if it doesnt they could release it with the simple disclaimer that it would not have any usage technical support and things like tutorials would be up to the community.

EVE is like swimming on a beach in shark infested waters,  There is however a catch...  The EVE Beach you also have to wonder which fellow swimmer will try and eat you before the sharks.

well you can import the models into Unreal 3 editor and work on things there, but that does not make filming any easier.

Jessica runs directly from the CCP servers, that's why.

Fun, is not a word that is used to describe it's functionality.

Only people that should have access to it are those who work on CCP videos for the purposes of marketing.

Visually, it pales in comparison.
