Hello Gentlemen and Ladies,

Was just wondering if anyone knew of a good guide for running C1 to C3 sleeper sites in a Tengu or Nighthawk. Also had a curious question about solo'ing a C5 or C6 in a Phoenix.

1. Is it possible to solo in a phoenix dread?
2. How much isk do you make?

Thanks

Assuming your not trolling... I doubt you can even complete a C5/6 site in a Phoenix - it lacks the range or the ability to apply dps effectively to sleepers... you'd literally do better sticking HML on it than using capital missiles and even thats very poor.

As much as I'd like to oblidge the trolls on this particular topic :D

Before any other potential issue with the phoenix - how do you propose to deal with the sleeper frigs (many of which scram) with citadel missiles which are designed for hitting large structures?

Go to eve survival and read over the mission notes for the various sleeper sites. Some have good comments. It will give you good insight on what to expect.

ill answer c5/6 part

no, you cant solo in a phoenix. it'll die in flames every time regardless of fits. you cant apply damage, the sleepers will neut you dry, kill your tank, and you will never be able to hit anything smaller then a battleship. its by far the most useless ship in the game, and it has no use what so ever other then hitting static big objects, and even there there are countless better options

for c5/6 you need a fleet. at least 5 people. tengu's are the easiest option for subcaps. for caps you need a triage carrier, something to web the battleships, and dreadnaughts to kill them. revs and moros are excellent, nag's are decent, phoenix still sucks

as for income. assuming a normal fleet where things like boosters and salvagers are alts, between 500 million and 1 billion an hour

LOL!!!

You have a better shot at making a phoenix a good L4 mission runner than a WH dread.

PS: Hath, youre no fun at all...

I think calling it decent is giving it too much credit in pve, but I haven't tried it.

I suggest you re-read this after asking about using a single dread again.
