Dear CCP,

Sorry, I just can't let it go . . .

For turrets, they need a straight line shot at their targets. That necessitates a need to have double the number of turret hard points on each side, or top and bottom. But, with the new missile launchers, things have changed. The missiles get "launched" away from the ship, change direction, and head to the target. That's fine, the graphics are OK (even though some missiles do a u-turn, a 90, and even zig-zag).

Point I want to make again is that there are too many launchers on most of the Caldari ships. Trying to cram 12 launchers onto the Tengu just makes it look awful.

I know the Drake has 7 launchers on each side and it looks good (though not what the video showed). I believe that was just the way it was designed years ago. But on the others the excessive launchers and their placement just look ridiculous.

Tengu: doesn't need 12 launchers, six will do fine with the new graphics. The 6 in the front could be eliminated, they just don't look right either. The 3 out on each "wing" is OK, but they'd look better on the hull.

Manticore: looks great, but needs only 3 launchers

Hawk: looks good

Ferox: is OK, but need that single launchers on the top in the middle moved.

Raven: is OK, Actually the Raven and CNR have the minimal amount of launchers. Missiles launch from the top and bottom at the same time. (why can't all the launchers be similiar to the cruise launchers?)

Blackbird: the launchers could be brought back to the hull.

Caracal: remove launchers on the arms and move them up the shoulder, and remove all the launchers on it's neck.

Hookbill: is OK, but remove the launcher on the top of it's head.

Scorp: Is ok (I see the launchers were removed from it's head to the hull)

Kestrel: is ok, but again, just too many launchers (how do you place 4 launchers on a tri-hull?)

As I've mentioned before, the launchers should look like they are part of the ship, integrated into it's design. It should not look like a toy where some kid went crazy with glue. I don't think the launchers need to look like turrets. How the heck do some of these launchers even get reloaded?

So, CCP, please tweek some of these ship models.

Thanks

-Jaz

Always remember Tovil-Toba, and what was done there.

Hookbill just looks bad with launchers on his nose and top , would look much better with those on his wings.

Everyone forgets about the Scorp Navy Issue, which should shoot all the missiles out of the stinger.
