INTRO:
Hi, I’m Ralien—call me Ral. This is a request for a loan as the subject says. A little bit about me. I started playing EVE in December 2006. I mostly mined for a while to make a living and then moved on to include manufacturing and research. I’ve lived in low-sec, null-sec and empire, which is where I’ve spent most of my time after starting to trade for a living. I had some success not too long after I started trading, but had to take a few long breaks from EVE. But now I’m back and it looks like I will be around for a while and am looking to get my trading fun ramped up.

REQUEST:
2.0 bil isk for 1 month @10%, with approximately 50% collateralized

COLLATERAL INFO:
I have a researched BS BPO, valued at about 1.1b, that I will put up as collateral. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sell it, but decided I would like to keep it in the end in case I decide to use it again in the future.

REASON FOR REQUEST:
The borrowed money will be used for a two-part trading plan. First, Ralien will be used for region-to-region trade. I discovered a couple opportunities since I’ve been back that I vetted and would like to exploit more. Second, a trading alt will be used for station trading as a way to hedge. I am anticipating that the borrowed money will be split 60/40 region/station trade.

RISKS:
The risks will be generally small for this plan. Goods for region-to-region trade will be transported using courier contracts. Our alliance was war dec’d unexpectedly two days ago, so I will definitely not be using Ralien to move any goods. If the region-to-region trade plan fails, or looks like it might for whatever reason, Ralien will be relegated to station trading in a different hub than the alt, in order to make sure the loan is repaid as promised.

OTHER NOTES:
I prefer that the loaned amount be from one person.
I do not plan in revealing the name of the alt trader or any API information.

Well I disagree about the 10%. If you can't make at least 10% in a month doing a combination of region trade and station trade with two trade characters, then you're doing it wrong, even with 2b. I didn't fully explain "just came back" but it wasn't yesterday, but then again you didn't really ask. I have been trading since I've been back using the same combination as I mentioned, and have had success. I do have a specific plan with what to do with the 2b, which I explained. Beyond that, I'm not going to say what items and where, because that would defeat the purpose of trading. And honestly what's there to understand in the market? I've identified things I can sell at a decently higher price than buying from the hubs, and have taken into account how quickly they can be sold. And I've taken into account the cost of couriers too and how soon things can be moved. I don't think I need an advanced degree to figure out how to make money from that. I have nothing but wholesame and profitable intentions for this money. I'm really not interested in ruining my rep with a scam, and furthermore associating a scammer wtih my alliance which is run by a good friend of mine. He'd be none too happy to have a MD scammer in his alliance.

That's why I was being upfront about the API key, because I'm not quite ready to be giving that info out to just anyone, but maybe in the future for something else. I figured someone would either be willing to take the risk on me or would loan at different terms like you have.
