Like the title says, my client is crashing, but, only on this character, the rest work fine.

I've tried clearing cache in game, which didn't work, then i tried deleting the cache manually, which uncovered a corrupted directory, meaning i had to rename the folder from Cache into something else ( i named it ignore me please ), so EVE shouldn't have a problem with that one anymore.

Restarted the game, log in, select character, it loads, but just as i am about to enter space, POOF, there's the error again.
EVE created a nice new cache folder, as expected, with a nice new crash dump and all, but i see no point in deleting that again.

So, i removed the settings, tried again, still nothing, nice new settings folder, that all works fine it seems, but still no luck.

How do i resolve this?

EDIT: i tried it on my secondary client, same issue, only with this char. ( secondary client uses a different folder for it's cache )

Please try running with the LogServer and file a bug report, attaching the log. Put my name in the header of the bug report so it gets to me quicker and I'll take a look.

If a crash dump is generated it will probably have been uploaded to our servers already - the log should indicate that, and will tell you where the dump file is located on your hard drive. If the log does not indicate a successful upload you should attach the dump file to the bug report as well so I can take a look at it.

While the crash dumps are sometimes enough for us to work out why EVE crashed, often getting logs and/or a description of what you were doing when EVE crashed is crucial for us to be able to address the issue.

I will try that, in the mean time, some new info.
I can log in with my other char on the same account, so it's no account issue.
The crash first happened, upon landing on the Hier gate in Sadana ( in the Aridia region of Amarr empire space ).
When i try to start the game, it looks like it does try to get me into space, but it crashes at the exact moment, you would normally start seeing the environment.

Anyway, will try that log server thing now.

I have the same issue of CCP exefile stopped working, and have also sent in a bug report. However, I may have a temp solution, as so far it stopped the crashing. *fingers crossed* I have found that if I turn OFF FXAA in the Nvidia control panel, the client stopped getting the crashes it seems. I tried turning it back on, and the first undock I did, the client crashed again, and would crash again if I restarted the client. I then turned off the FXAA again, and was able to get back in, and no crashes yet. Don't know if this is linked to the problem, but give it a try. It may be hardware AA, and not just FXAA. The ingame AA had not effect on the crashes.

We are indeed investigating one crash that happens when FXAA is turned on. We're working with Nvidia to determine the cause and see if we can come up with a fix, either in EVE or the Nvidia driver. For now, I'd recommend turning off FXAA in the Nvidia control panel.

Sadly though, my card does not have FXAA.

Newest info, i can now magically log in again, after doing absolutely nothing....... but at least i can do my thing again :D

For some reason though, it says PHYSX > CPU in the left corner of the screen, which is something i know i didn't enable.

But anyway, hope the FXAA issues get fixed, good luck o7
