Mining Cycle problem

I have noticed. If your mining an asteroid and another player is also mining it. Or even yourself, with more then one laser.
% of work, is not fairly distributed. Allow me to explain...

If an asteroid is down to 100 units of ore. And two beams are on the asteroid.
When the full cycle of the laser finishes, then the ore is taken from the asteroid.

If two lasers are on same asteroid, and one is 99% cycled, while the other is 100%.
Then the 100% laser, takes the 100 units of ore. The 99% cycle. Gets nothing.

I believe, when the asteroid is completely mined.
The final ore taken, should be properly allocated based on each lasers efforts.
Even across players

If 2 players are mining an asteroid. A lot of effort can be wasted.
Efficiency is valuable. And inefficiency is costly in time and money.

Hire someone to kill the other miner. Problem solved.

you need xofar's timer+roid scanner+gank the competiton+dont shoot same roids as op-mates

all the problem you mentioned are self-solvable

also insted of ganking you can pulse your miners if you have the cap to do so and when you cut your cycle early you will get payday before the other guy

plus leave alot of low total roids on field and move to the bigger ones identified by your scanner so competiton spends full cycle time for less than full yield (and you never do)

You are about to engage in an arguement with a forum alt,  this is your final warning.

I think that this is a small problem that dont need fixing. Its just that server transfers the ore if the cycle finishes or if you stop it. The thing you want would need the server to test if there are more players mining the roid every time the roid is mined out to evenly distribute the remaining ore. And while this may seems like a small and easy thing to do it may not be so.

CCP really please dont use Upgraded, Limited, Experimental and Prototype in item names. It sounds like the item is actually worse than basic meta 1 item. Use Calibrated, Enhanced, Optimized and Upgraded. Its really easy to understand that the item is better than meta 1 and its also in alphabetic order.
