I support this.

This would allow full blown alliance excercises with them, where losing one isnt a concern. It would give people an opportunity to skirmish and try new tactics.

Also it would give alliances thinking of building super caps a chance to try them out and decide if they are worth the effort.

Lol @ Jessica biel, we all know you need titans to actually be able to do anything ;3

But OT, I am worried what seeding supercaps may cause, I am for testing it for a mirror, and see how it impacts sisi, but I think it might cause more trouble than solve, and make them have their own system, otherwise normal caps will become half useless in 6-c

Problem I expect tho, is that if they get seeded, normal caps will become useless...And maybe they should mirror before they do it, so I can use em as well ;p

Engrish is not an actual language and therefore your opinion is null and void.

And your stupidly ignorant to the fact english isn't his first language, ******* idiot
I'm sorry, are you gonna post with all your alts repeating the same thing as well?

Just put everything on the market, faction mods, officer mods and supers we already have a sub cap only pvp system so it dos not really matter what people play with in 6-C nothings stopping you from going somewhere else to fight with caps that's why they have jumpdrives. People whining about others getting or not getting stuff is going to happen regardless.

Whiners gonna whine.

will they be able to dock in the system or still need POS to park them?

one question though will it be able to be insured? as only dockable ships are able to be insured for obvious reason Big smile

Hi! Thank you all for your posts and I can confirm you: It would have not been necessary to use alts in this thread - as I did not count the posts. I was mostly interested in the arguments and I have not found any important new arguments.

The decision: Super capitals are now seeded for a trial run in 6-CZ49 on Singularity. We will watch the use of the super capitals and will decide later if we'll continue to seed them or if we stop with the next full mirror. Please only buy single ships (I will watch my wallet)!

Regular test server rules apply - I will have a look around on Singularity in the next days and use the ban-hammer if really needed. Blink

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

As a super pilot on TQ, I dont feel that this addition adds anything from a "testing" point of view. The people with real supercapitals log on the test server enough to point out any glaring defects that a patch may have messed up.

As it stands right now, we have a similar situation with seeding faction modules. Everyone and their mother is buying (badly skilled) supercapitals and flying around 6-C, with almost no subcapitals or even normal capitals added in. It creates an artificial testing environment, one where it is pretty impossible to test anything OTHER than a super.

This is a trend that has emerged over the past few months with SiSi, starting with the abolition of the segregated combat arenas. Good luck testing for instance frigate balancing changes on SiSi in an environment where everyone is fitting meta 14 modules and you get a 10 man supercarrier gang warped in on you at any time. Changes like these essentially relegate the usefulness of the test server from a player's perspective to playing with obscenely expensively fit ships for half an hour then leaving once the fun factor wears off (Supercap ganks with 10v1 and no support isnt exactly thrilling).

I'm still a fan of keeping the accelerated build speed that was already in place on SiSi, but to me seeding supercaps is just a way to ensure that no testing actually happens

I believe thats why there is a second system for Subcap fighting, thats if im not mistaken lol Ugh. If someone could confirm this, it would be great, and also clarify if normal caps are seeded in the 2nd system would be good Big smile

The last time I visited the subcap system, there were precisely 2 other people there.

One was docked and presumably afk, the other one was sitting in a meta 13 fit dual-booster vargur that obviously cant be killed by any solo subcap. Please tell me what was being accomplished there.
