About Nexon
The NEXON Corporation represents all that is greedy in the gaming world I have played 1 of thier games for several years now as a alternative to EvE during down times . Combat Arms is a fps and is FREE to PLAY but.....when you dont buy the I win items it takes 3 times as long to get to next lvl or rank most of the I win items expire (some items can be permanently bought but @ $$$$$$$). They do occasionaly ban people for hacking but for the most part it allowed or nothing is done .. Their built in hacking software FAILS almost 100% of the time . This is a warning to CCP beware of the company you keep Nexon is terrible .

So... you're angry at the business model of a typical FTP game? Really?

You obviously have little to no understanding how FTP games work nor where their revenue comes from. This is normal and acceptable within the gaming community. Nothing to see here.

Worst FTP that is oddly very popular is DDO
**** buying quests

Do you have any proof to back this up?

No, it wont. There is objectively not Chernobyl level radiation leakages a day.

Ukranian (or Soviet) - not Russian. Also, this statement is patently false.

This thread is apples to oranges and is very misinformed. CCP is not emulating NEXON in any way, shape or form. It is far closer to an emulation of Team Fortress 2, except with inflated prices that didn't seem to be researched beforehand.

I love the fear mongering that come with nuclear power. Most people should look at what happened in japan as the stability of nuclear power plants.

A large plant survived a massive earthquake yet the tsunami took out the pumps. Right there it shows you that power generation from nuclear power plants is relatively safe. If they were placed farther inland (more cost to the company for water though) this accident would never have happened.

Yes people still advocate that coal is a better power generations substance even with all the atmospheric pollutants that it causes.

The flue gas from combustion of the fossil fuels is discharged to the air; this contains carbon dioxide and water vapour, as well as other substances such as nitrogen, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and (in the case of coal-fired plants) fly ash, mercury and traces of other metals.

Sulfur oxide combines with H20 to make acid rain.

Mercury causes damage to the body with these symptoms

Case control studies have shown effects such as tremors, impaired cognitive skills, and sleep disturbance in workers with chronic exposure to mercury vapor even at low concentrations in the range 0.7–42 μg/m3.[88][89] A study has shown that acute exposure (4 – 8 hours) to calculated elemental mercury levels of 1.1 to 44 mg/m3 resulted in chest pain, dyspnea, cough, hemoptysis, impairment of pulmonary function, and evidence of interstitial pneumonitis.[90] Acute exposure to mercury vapor has been shown to result in profound central nervous system effects, including psychotic reactions characterized by delirium, hallucinations, and suicidal tendency. Occupational exposure has resulted in broad-ranging functional disturbance, including erethism, irritability, excitability, excessive shyness, and insomnia. With continuing exposure, a fine tremor develops and may escalate to violent muscular spasms. Tremor initially involves the hands and later spreads to the eyelids, lips, and tongue. Long-term, low-level exposure has been associated with more subtle symptoms of erethism, including fatigue, irritability, loss of memory, vivid dreams, and depression.

With proper control Nuclear is one of the safest forms of energy generation.

Personally I view the accident in Japan as a case study as a positive for nuclear generation showing what can happen to these plants and how they still are able to avoid a full meltdown.
