Is this worth having switched on ? I only noticed it yesterday while fiddling around in options trying to get the frame rate up.
I also noticed something about "Intervals" and there were various options also.
Does anyone have any experience with these options in terms of using them ? Good/bad/indifferent ?

So the basics are as follows:

Multithreaded OpenGL is good if you have plenty of spare CPU cycles to help the GPU.

Intervals are used to limit the amount of frames rendered to what is required for smooth gameplay, we recommend keeping it at default.

I play with every effect switched on but turned off all graphic content settings (set to 'none') and have multithreaded open GL activated as well as interval set to '2'. I noticed much smoother FPS with multithreaded ON and interval set to 2: 50-60 fps compared to what was like 10-30 fps before. Macbook pro 2010 model, 2.66ghz core i7, 8 gb ram.
