I know that you can go in and change your clothes and whatnot as much as you please, but is there an option anywhere to alter the actual shape of your character?

Just customize your character again in the station services(around the left hand side of the screen when your enter a station). As for shape what are you meaning? Skinny fat etc?

Exactly, like being able to adjust facial features, body shape, etc. It doesn't seem to be possible in the recustomization screen.

I believe the most you can give your avatar is a mild beer belly. I presume capsules have a maximum capacity also Cool

The body shape can only ever be changed once (unless a you get a GM to let you do a full redo) otherwise it's just clothes and stuff like you mentioned.

You are only able to modify the superficial appearance of your character, such as hair, tattoos, accessories, etc.

Things such as facial structure and body shape are permanent, again, unless you get a GM to help you change it which is unlikely.

You can only change your clothes or maybe get rid of all those bad hair days by shaving off all you hair but that's it.

On making your character there was a nice pop up telling you all your decisions on your features are FINAL and can't be altered after that. So unless you get a nice GM who likes you and accepts your petition your stuck with your body (or make a new toon ofc).
