How did you afford your supercarrier?

I asked the owner if I could give it a spin around the system. Amazingly, he let me. He sent me a message five minutes after I jumped out, asking if he'd left any fuel in it so I could play with the jump drive. Lol

...Is what would happen if I was insanely lucky, and could also fly supers.

also i feel sorry for anybody who funds a supercarrier through watching grey lines turn red

just buy nullsec complex/escalation bookmarks from newbies and split the drops 50% if you're going that route, it's quicker and others do most of the boring work for you

I don't have it yet, because I want to build it by myself, like I have done for every other ship I got, every mod I got, every rig I got and every ammo I got.

Money is the least issue, I want to fly minmatar but for what I understand, minmatar super caps are well below any others.

I can rent you a system to drop a CSAA if you want to build it yourself.

all the cool kids wish they had a Ragnarok.

Quote:
The Ragnarok fares much better in PvP than the Caldari Raven, where it serves as what might be called a “light tank” in other mmorpgs. It rushes in against a specific target, unloads as many weapons as it can. The Ragnarok should be quickly flown away to a place where enemies cannot damage it. The missile launchers, the cannons, and the perhaps a laser or two for those who favor weapons that fire quickly should be unloaded all at once.

Issues ?

Jeez I would love to, but I haven't even started looking at cap skills yet, still have a year mapped in smaller ships and skills before I think about it. Then they release a load of new skills and ships and that puts me back again, sigh one day.

Oh that and the ISK ouch

I expect no-more from such a noble Goonswarm Federation member, make daddy proud.

And daddy being? Are you just some dumb high-sec pubbie that wishes you could afford a super-carrier because you just do missions all day long?

Awww, u mad bro?

Do I wish I could afford a super carrier? **** yeah.

On a serious note, No i'm not, I can't even get into highsec, I can't remember the last time I ran missions for the pathetic isk they generate.

In other words, you have to settle for doing missions because you have no other means of making isk. At least not reliably.

You always make me giggle sligthly.

This could be fun.

If you can't afford to buy/replace one don't do it because you'll look stupid after boum

If you don't want to get stuck with a char that can't do anything else, don't do it

If you don't want to play space priests/shamans, don't do it

Just buy faction ships/T3's and get 300000x the hella fun you will get instead.

Edit: doesn't mean you shouldn't get the minimum skills to board one, if you ever get the occasion to steal one and sell it just do it Cool

Wow, Karadion, how did you know to speak to yourself in the future?

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

Someone explain to me how super-caps work: afaik, you can't dock them, so you are basically stuck in them. Do you dedicate a character to flying one, only logging it in when needed?

1. Mine a bunch of minerals.
2. Sell off the extra in high-sec and bring back Trit and Pyerite.
3. Build the Ship.
4 Profit.

Pretty sure you permenantly sit in it. Leaving it inside pos shields would seem kinda dumb.
