Inferno 1.1 issues thread

two problems I have noticed, one started with inferno 1.1, the other with the prelude to inferno.

Problem 1: Looting in space has been far more difficult and frustrating since Inferno 1.1. Every wreck
or container I open generates a 5-7 second pause (client freeze) and another similar one when "Loot All"
is pressed. This happens without fail every time. Needless to say, this makes looting a lot of wrecks a lot
more time consuming and frustrating. Also, in the off chance this is caused by all the database lookups
needed for the "average price" feature, can you at least add the ability to turn that off? Sometimes the pausing gets
so bad my client gets confused and I get the "Checking Navigation" progress bar and the overview gets all
screwed with phantom things showing up, locked targets not being locked, etc. Refreshing the overview does not
fix this, only warping away and back does.

Problem 2:

Stacking appears to be broken, if you stack all in a window, container, etc, it takes twice to actually stack everything
unless there is only a few items there.

PS. On a side note, with the forums and eve gate being down for 3 days, could you guys not have put a note
on the community website or news somewhere? Just saying....

CCP, u finally fixed my framerate from 3 fps to 50fps on a single client. Thanks!

I have spotted a problem its called a **** UI that replaced a perfectly functional one when is the rollback coming

A rollback will never happen because that means accepting defeat and giving the players what they want, i would have prefered the OPTION to use it or not

Ally costs are broken. It's costing people multiple trillions to accept ally offers even in wars that don't actually have any allies involved in them yet.

I ran into all kinds of problems, such as:
- Once EVE is running, no other program can access the internet
- Once EVE is closed, it will not free memory

The solution I found to these problems was simple:
(1) Uninstall F-Secure Internet Security
(2) Install some other security suite (personally went for MS Security Essentials)
(3) ???
(4) Profit!

However, the observation is that at the current, EVE is not compatible with F-Secure's software for some reason. In Inferno 1.0.x, stuff still Just Worked(tm).

5 days and many patches later I still can't launch the game after Inferno 1.1 patch.

Every time I click 'play' in Online Launcher, the Client starts to load but at the end my pc crashes (blue screen).

I emptied cache, I uninstalled and re-installed the game, nothing worked.

I have filed a bug report on Tuesday, but no response yet. (And, since it's the weekend, probably I shouldn't be expecting any before Monday, right?)

I'm very, very displeased...

BUG: Pls finally fix the corp-delivery shortcut! The shortcut only works in stations where u have a office or by some other random factors.

just logged in for the first time since unified crapatory hit us in the face, first i noticed was the FPS... what the F...heck have they done to the game now??????

really CCP, you are making an even bigger mess then it already was, way to go

A couple of issues with Unified Inventory have cropped up again.

I have set up Hot Keys for Ship Hanger (Alt-H), Item Hanger (Alt-I) and Active Ship Cargo Hold (Alt-C).

In station I open these three windows.

If I logout with these windows open, only the Ship Hanger window is open when I login.

When I Undock from the station, the Ship Hanger closes, the Active Ship Cargo Hold remains open but the Item Hanger remains open with the Active Ship Cargo Hold active.

When I Dock with the station, the Ship Hanger and Active Ship Cargo Hold are open, however, the Item Hanger is open with the Active Ship Cargo Hold active.

When I logout and login, the windows I had open need to still be open.

When I Undock from the station, the Item Hanger and Ship Hanger need to close and when I Dock with the station, the Ship Hanger and Item Hanger with Item Hanger active need to reopen.

T2 Ammunition is bugged, or fitting windows shows wrong DPS.

Example1:
Jaguar, 3x150mm Light AutoCannonII
T2 Hail S Ammo: 188DPS
T2 Barrage S Ammo: 134DPS
T1 Phased Plasma: 147DPS

T1 ammo (Phased Plasma S) shows more DPS than T2 (Barrage S): 147 : 134

Example2:
Ishkur, 3xLight Ion Blaster II
T2 Void S Ammo: 126DPS
T2 Null S Ammo: 90DPS
T1 Antimatter S: 98DPS

Again T1 ammo (Antimatter Plasma S) shows more DPS than T2 (Null S): 98 : 90

those t1 ammo types do more damage than those t2 ammo types, it's not a bug.

fps was at 60, warped into a scanned down mining site, fps drops to 5 after relogging fps back to 60 even in the site. Ugh

I got "fps drop" after some opening/closing starmap (F10).

Have the same problems for the FPS drops from 60 to 12-16 when opening a wreck and 5-10 fps when looting all.

When will we have option to use the old inventory system rather then UI?

There is a way forward that ccp can use to solve the looting cans problem with the new UI.

I propose that ccp introduce the T3 SALVAGER which salvages and deposits the wrecks loot into your salvagers cargohold. It is so frustrating trying to loot ships with the client stopping and starting like a broken down old wreck. This wont fix the other problems caused by this UI, but it would improve looting. ccp owe it to us now that they have completly ganked looting.

Add to my call for the T3 SALVAGER to be introduced IMMEDIATLY with the next update.

I managed to have 5 minutes of decent frame rate, including leaving a station, jumping, activating a couple of acceleration gates... Then next time I jumped, the FPS dropped to a staggering 2.2. Took me almost 30 seconds just to quit the game so it stopped gimping my whole PC. Fun times.

I found solution that work for mi fps problem. Put mi video card settings to manual(not aplication controled) and disable all AA options, i have 8600gts. Half day i have no problems with TWO clients.
