I tried to recruit my brother and my best friend to play EVE online. We have all played other MMO games before, so I figured they would enjoy EVE.

They both have Apple computers though. They both gave up on EVE within 15 minutes of finishing the installation. My friend said the client crashed during character creation twice. My brother said it crashed three times. They never actually finished creating a single character.

This is pretty disappointing. They have a really sour impression of EVE and CCP now, and I don't know if they would try it again. I don't blame them.

I play on Windows 7, and it runs fine. However, it seems like the Mac client is in really bad shape.
