Greetings, people of the inter-galactic summit. I am Sebastien Starstrider of the Ushra'Khan, and I come with a message.

In the past, long before the enaction of the CONCORD Emergency Militia War Powers Act, the Ushra'Khan were long considered to be an 'extremist' organization in many corners of space. Vilified by supporters of the Midular regime which had sought to mend relations with the Amarr through a failing policy of appeasement, the Ushra'Khan fought its battles in the less secure regions of the Minmatar Republic, and in the lawless space that lay beyond. Only rarely did we venture into empire space to strike at opportune targets, disrupting slavers where we could, before falling into the outer regions once more.

The Ushra'Khan fought the battles that it knew must be fought, the same battles of the past when the Amarr first descended upon the Matari homeworlds to subjugate them, as well as the battles that must be fought in the future to truly free all Matari peoples from Amarrian subjugation, rather than just focusing solely upon those that had already been made free.

It has been some time since Karin Midular was the face of the Minmatar Republic. Maleatu Shakor now gives voice for the Matari people, a voice that reflects Matari heritage rather than the adopted principles of other nations. His is a voice that the Ushra'Khan can not only respect, but strengthen with our own.

It has taken some time for the deeds of the past to be forgiven, and for the members of the Ushra'Khan to turn and look back to our former homes. It has taken the Ushra'Khan a long time to realize that we need no longer be exiles within the nation of our peoples, no longer considered criminals and outlaws as declared by Karin Midular, but rather weary but determined old warriors welcomed to the battle that is the true heart of the conflict between the Amarr Empire and Minmatar Republic in our time.

It was the return of the Minmatar Elders that signaled the beginnings of change within the Republic. Much time has passed since then, and we now, at last, feel ready to return home. After much soul searching, a change of leadership and a strong desire from members both old and new, the Ushra'Khan will soon be making the long overdue decision to take its place beside its brothers and sisters, the freedom fighters and the Matari loyalists of the Tribal Liberation Force. With the expansion of the Militia War Powers Act to permit the formal enlistment of CONCORD-registered Alliances, we find ourselves able and willing to take this step.

The transition has not been easy, we have said farewell to many comrades even as we re-unite with old friends. We do not expect the challenges that we shall face in this conflict to be any less difficult than those that we have faced elsewhere. The Ushra'Khan must prove itself on these new battlefields as on any other. The Ushra'Khan will need to live up to its name, to honor its warriors of old. It will be a challenge to live up to the glories of our past and to adapt to this new way of war, but it is a challenge we face willingly and with much determination.

We come for our people.

Don't worry Slaver, we are coming to you, or, more accurately,

We are coming for you.

It is good to see the Ushra'Khan fly again in battle against the oppression of religious zealots.

As a former pilot of the Ushra'Khan, I am excited, and wait to watch what happens.
Please keep us appraised of this new venture.

I may have left the war for the present... but this news just tickles me.

Welcome home. May the Spirits guide your aim.

I am honored to be the first Minmatar to welcome Ushra'Khan to the struggle. We of Murientor Tribe have great feelings of respect and fellowship with U'K, but that's only natural given our background. I know that I not only speak for my Tribe, but my alliance as well when I say that your contribution will be welcomed.

We look forward to countless opportunities to cooperate with Ushra'Khan in the fight against the slavers and their Ammatar lapdogs, as well as any Caldari militia freebooters who cross our path.

edit to recognize that Ava and I posted at the same time. So, we are the first Minmatar.

Great news to see our old allies in the Ushra'khan back in action!

Look forward to sharing fleets and hearing the lamentations of the Amarrian women soon.

I thought that the JF were opposed even to Minmatar imperialism? in fact to any kind of imperialism? I know the Ushra'khan are classifying themselves (and most probably are) as freedom fighters against the Empire and the creeds of slavery but that does not mean that they are not a tool in the Republic's war machine to spread imperialistically to other territories...something that at least the JF gives the impression to be against.

Fogive me if i am wrong i just wish to understand.

Welcome home.

Long over due, but happy news none the less.

I am losing track of how many rebirths Ushra'Khan has endured now. Let this be the last one that sets you on the right path.

Hmm... not on the top of my list of people to shoot, but oh well. Good to see you all doing something besides dicking around in the ass end of nowhere. Maybe you'll earn your name again.

As I've said elsewhere a pragmatic anarchist shoots the most depraved imperialist structure first. When the Matari people have been freed from Amarrian slavery then we can talk about how to overthrow the lesser hierarchies.

Truth be told, I don't think there is much danger of Minmatar state imperialism developing though; the tribes are too independent and far too wed to the notion of making their own decisions as they see best. One has only to take part in TLF fleets in the Bleaklands warzone to realize these are fighters who will never be governed and dominated by a repressive government. The Matari are winning freedom to make their own future as they choose it.

The Republic is not gaining "willing tools" - its simply seeing its citizens armed and prepared to ensure they never again lose independence and full autonomy of their own fate. Is this in the Republic's best interest? Who knows really, but its a moot question - the politicians have no say in the matter.

For our part in the Fraction, we're happy to see capsuleers take up weapons and learn to defend their own freedoms and see the advantages of our caste given freely to the liberated populations delivered from Amarrian oppression.

We in Damu'Khonde are happy that our brothers in arms are joining us on the war front. We will be merging with Ushra'Khan under their banner, and fight the Amarr together once more. Huzzah!

My duties as an atmospheric alpha test pilot and as an expecting father have kept me out of the pod for quite awhile, but after reading the names of Ushra'Khan's new leaders, I may have to renew my capsuleer license, even if only to get access to Deck 23 so I can shake a few hands.

Kazzzi you old space dog, you come down to Deck 23 and I'll buy the first round and regal you with tails of conquest, some of which might even be true!
