Is Soundwave struggling for things to say and saying random stuff or do they have random sound bites someone is playing to pass the time???
It reminds to a bit of flying in a Scarlet Bear Blitz fleet - him streaming music with "random" comments slipped in.
Apart from the fact his music is FAR FAR better...

I'll just wait until the last weekend finals before I tune in :)

I hope there's a studio with different devs invited between the matches to talk
about the game, upcoming adjustments, mods, art, tech, economy, eve future etc...

Self deprecating / ironic humor is not trolling.

And yes there will be a studio up for the finals with CCP employees popping in, just like last year and the year before that. This is the first time they're showing us the qualifying rounds at all.

So is there something actually on the stream ATM? Because I'm looking at more or less the same black screen I saw throughout FanFest X
The previous tourney streams were fine so I thought I'd be OK for this one...

The music is so bad that I have it muted - run a few missions and unmute ever so often to see if a match has started.

I would close it off and try it again.
