[WTS] 10.000 Slaves—Ealurs, Udorians, Intaki, Mongrels

Dear IGS,

five months ago I transferred 10.000 slaves from an agricultural complex of mine to a facility in Amarr. I had some plans—eugenics and education—, but no time to deal with them. Today I found them malnourished, chained to windows, sitting in their excrements etc. A very sad situation. They can’t take care of themselves.

Most of them are mongrels, but also some Ealurs, Intaki, and Udorians can be found. While physically strong and used to hard labour, intellectually they’re lost. Anyhow, they can be very useful, just not for me. I have no records about their lineage, but the “Imperial Edict of Emancipation” doesn’t apply, since the slaves have Khanid papers—if requested I can do the paperwork prior to the transfer.

Fun fact: 10% of the stock has pedigree collapse of 25% in a single generation!

I’m not interested in a high price. I want them to get into good hands. Please contact me if interested.

Love,
Odelya d’Hanguest

P.S.: Anti-slavery forces and other heretics, and also organisations such as “People for the Ethical Treatment of Slaves” [PETS] are requested to stop themselves from commenting—or even attempting to buy.

If I understand the legal situation correctly, you are willing transfer these people to parties that do not practice slavery, yes? If so, I will pay fair price for their transport to the State.

Dear Ms. Hoshisuuvi,

many apologies, but I only sell to Amarr and Ammatar holders or Khanid citizens. I assume that you are neither of them. The slaves must be picked up on Emperor Family Station in Amarr.

Thank you for your interest,

Stop being lazy. Hose the poor bastards down and give them a spritz of perfume (you may need a crop duster) and their value will at least double.

Dear Ms. d'Hanguest,
I would gladly provide fair compensation and pick up these slaves at a place and time of your convenience. Please contact me and we can iron out the details.

Although I am a man without a nation, I am not a man without purpose. I have found new direction and purpose through the ways of Arzad Hamri. Also, these “lowly” janitors have shown me a depth of understanding into the plight and suffering of all kinds of people. I still have some access to Amarr agents. With the guidance of my janitor friends, I have begun to find people who want to leave the Empire and begin life elsewhere. I’ll be telling some of their stories in the days to come. Until our people reject the way of slavery and embrace freedom and the sharing of the value of disparate cultures, our own citizens will seek to live elsewhere. As Arzad Hamri called Amarr leadership to embrace a different way, so the call continues today. It is heard in the voices of those who are fleeing oppression and searching for freedom.

I am proud of the people I associate with, but you know as well as I do that you do not openly reveal the agent or agency of such missions. Mr. Blake. I believe that deep within you is a light that is telling you how wrong slavery is. You are afraid to give quarter to that light, lest you realize that the majority of your life has been lived in vain. It is never to late to change your mind and pursue a different path. I realize how hard that would be for you considering your years of service to PIE and investment of time and energy. It would take a very brave man to do what is right and reject slavery.

Your point, Ms. Hanaya? I still fit the stated criteria.

Lady d'Hanguest,

I have noted your postscript and am not callow enough to try and mislead you, unlike the derelict Theobar Cresthill. While I would certainly be willing to pay for the numbers en masse I can understand if this would not sit well with you.

The poor state of these souls are what caught my attention and would like to offer my services in the absolution of any individuals deemed unfit for service to God, or haplessly caught between Holders under which to serve. These people suffer further—physically, emotionally and spiritually—with every passing day they are unable to be with their Lord.

You have my word I can offer any of these individuals a gentle and humane remission. I can assist them at my own facilities on the Emperor Family Station, so they needn't be burdened by transportation.

I looked at both the Market and Contracts available in the Emperor Family Academy and saw nothing for 10,000 slaves, so I assume you haven't placed them on the open market. I see slaves are going for 700 each, so are you asking for 7,000,000 for them?

In the original post, she specified that anti-slavery forces were not to attempt to buy this group.

Dear Lady Hanaya,

thank you for your consideration and astuteness! I’m not interested in making a profit out of these slaves. I will sell them for one symbolical ISK. I am just interested that they will get into good hands. Are you interested?

This—to make it clear—does certainly not include extermination or sitting in excrements, but on the other hand it also doesn’t mean to bring them to wonderland.¹) Their slave status shouldn’t be touched just because they’re slaves.

Dear Mr. Shogaatsu,

thank you for your concern. I am lazy indeed! (⌒_⌒;) But I really can’t spend my time with doing stuff for them, religious education etc. On the other hand I know that I somehow should. In that little catechism of mine—as in many Khanid traditions—it is commendable to transmit a religious duty that you cannot obey yourself. (It’s a bit like outsourcing in business.) At the moment I am preparing a holiday; I really want this to be done without involving much effort. I want to enjoy my holiday without thinking about this starving poor things.

¹) This kind of benevolent mighty deed disgusts me to tears. It has become quite an industry: Just scream how bad everything is and there’ll be a legion of benefactors pouring love, admiration and—now it becomes important—money on you. People should accept that men are not equal.

I'll speak with Lord Hanaya about this, but he will likely desire them. I'm sending a group of nurses to the station to inspect them for illnesses, please tell whomever you have looking after them to let them into wherever you're holding your slaves.

Lady d'Hanguest

If these slaves are still available, I would be willing to purchase them from you. While you stated you were not in it to make a profit, I am willing to make an appropriate offer that would compensate you for any losses that you might have incurred. But that detail could be conducted through more private communication avenues.

As for where these slaves might end up, I can assure you that they will be staying in Amarr controlled High security space, and I have the faciliaties and programs already set up to try to bring faith to the slaves that have the proper intelligence, for the ones that don't, they will be placed in proper and safe work enviroments.

Please get back with me, through eve-mail comms if they are still for sale.

Thank you for your time

Mistress d'Hanguest,

I would be willing to take these souls into my care. I can assure you that they shall be helped on the path to their (or their progeny) eventual reclamation. I would, of course, offer fair market value for them as I think it only right that you recoup the losses their care has costed you.

My thanks,
