No Faction/Deadspace Hardeners or Propulsion modules on Flagships?

Reading the rules for flagships it states that all highslots modules bar remote rep and cloaks are valid, 1 shield booster or 2 armor reps are valid, electronic warfare modules are valid, weapon upgrade modules are valid.... but that's it. I assume this means no faction/deadspace/officer armor or shield hardeners are allowed and the same with propulsion mods. Is this correct? I don't recall these being barred from previous years flagships.

The rule about flagships never changed.

It is known.

You are correct, and that has always been the case.
Anyway, I think the deadline for flagship submissions has passed: http://community.eveonline.com/en/tournament/rules

they didn't want flagships to be boring supertanks, hence the limitation on stuff that helps with tanking

It makes sense though it tends to favor only certain ships, ie. bhaalgorn

Bhaalgorns would benefit from increased tank too. The concern is that people would field pretty much unkillable hyperions and stuff.

I don't know if you should be spending ISK on flagships considering this loss to a bunch of noob-renter-pets in Drakes....

First of all, way to hide behind your alt... second, being permajammed by a falcon, scrammed and neuted, anything will die. Post with your main and let's compare killboards, then you can talk smack. At least I engage 10+ people solo and often times come out on the winning end. Even in this fight i nearly made it out. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, it was a lot of fun.

At least no one can fault you for the excellent setup on that Machariel class Battleship. The Power Diagnostic System II is a powerful module that is very beneficial for a ship fitting such as yours. It is a shame that the Shield & Cap bonus was not enough to keep you up. :(

LOL, should have known it was you... Hydra has nothing better to do than forum smack now that they are out of the Tourney...for shame. I respect Hydra and their PVP skill, it's unfortunate that you and your friends cannot show respect to anyone else. And also, off topic and completely inappropriate.

Get a grip on reality, I don't alt-post. If that was me why would I alt-post in the first place only to use my main after?
