CCP has proven to me and everybody else that letting them know about a fight does NOT mean they will reinforce the node as much as it needs to be.

Burn Jita is a perfect example. If CCP had reinforced the node to the point where everybody who wanted to participate could jump into the system eventually without their being a hard cap on the total amount of players in system , this thread would have no reason to exist.

However the fact remains there is a serious problem with CCP and the way they manage their servers for large battles.

CCP was not prepared for Burn Jita, what makes you think they will be able to handle this. CCP has really been dropping the ball/Shitting the bed.

One of the main reasons I started playing eve was because of the persistent universe. These days eve is turning into second life in space with parcels/solar systems that have waiting lines or are diverting traffic.

The community has grown to large for the CCP servers to handle.

This war simply will not happen or it will be a few thousand people in a warzone with the remainder sitting outside a gates in other systems waiting in line to jump in.

And again with the disclaimer that I haven't been in the fight yet (will be tomorrow), every killboard I've looked at says that the northern claims that they are mopping the floor in delve are greatly overblown. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what is propaganda, and what is fact.

i dont think you get goons most of them have thier npc forum alts in goons... so that char is more then likely a second alt char for someone else...

Yeah this character is a scorpion pilot, but so far I've been using my stealth bomber alt. But who among us worries about that, it isn't like we have ~fleet participation requirements~ or ~killmail quotas~.

So far it seems major fleets do little other than shoot POS in peace, smaller gatecamps might be busted. But meh, why bother sniping on the forums, when you can snipe with a 250++km optimal Naga on a perch off a gate.

It's not my NPC forum alt, it's my capital pilot. The neutrals are my lowsec cyno pilots. And my jita alt.

Clearly you won't because i've just been in a fleet for the last 40 mins and had the grid not load on me when jumping into a system 3 times and the client **** itself and D/C me 3 times too and it's my first serious fleet in game, not setting a good impression so far CCP.

Hope you reinforce then nodes during downtime.
