Server goes down before downtime?

Im thinking those 4000 people got the same screen i did.

Character load fail - the system has not yet loaded.

Seems the same problem that happened after the disconnect just before downtime is still present ..... mmmm good times await.

Just a heads up:

Dear players, the servers will be closing immediately for an emergency reboot at GMT 11:47. If at all possible, please make sure your characters are out of harms way.

yeah..after 10 tries to login our WH finally loaded...

and some of the sites we had done before downtime, respawned too.

My drones were still there and while collecting them in, the site we were doing in the moment of the crash respawned too.


Now we were allmost through - the emergency shutdown popped up. :/

First ... it is pretty obvious that it is "so important" for them, else they wouldn't.
Second ... it's actually more a simulation, than a game.
Third ... you're even more annoying than them.

Yeah, it's not that realistic, but on the other hand simply calling it a game is a huge understatement.
AND ... if you consider all that whining, for many people it's more a LIFE than a game already,
so the term simulation seems quite fitting, without insulting any of these ... "people".

that's not a bug you know, that's a normal error message when you're the first one to load a system.
same as when it says the stargate is not working, or the WH is not stablized.

Our sincere apologies for the slightly premature downtime and the start-up problems following downtime . We hope the damage caused was limited and if you lost anything due to the early downtime, please file a reimbursement petition and our GMs will be happy to look into the matter for you.

In behalf of the whole community i am hereby asking you to reimburse the lost game-time in form of money.
I understand that a few cents aren't really much, but combined it's quite an amount i will proudly take and
spread - on behalf of you - to every member demanding a reimbursement.

Please note that i am - of course - not doing this for my own profit,
but actually want to save your time by loading the burden of this on my own shoulders.
