We have decided to open a thread where we can post videos and audio of some of the fights we have.

I will be maintaining and updating this thread as we gather more video and audio footage.

The video and audio is being left as close to the raw version as possible, just the raw fights mistakes and fails and all :P

Glad you all liked it, we are currently processing some more videos. I will probably also be posting some pre-tier3 audio footage of a fight we had.

I am not certain how interested people would be in plain audio footage, personally I have always have found it interesting.

I find raw footage with voice coms quite entertaining in most cases.

Plain audio is pretty rare, but I'm all for it. You get a much better sense of a fights direction, of time, smaller details and even a general understanding of the corp itself. I wouldn't have noticed that void bomb in a vid with full music, but it was great to hear people yelping about it over comms.

I've watched both vids now; looking forward to more.

Regarding the nano/Tier 3 fleet comps where you have a couple of Ares pilots in there, what is the role of the Ares? Are they supposed to get points? Or do they just zip around trying to give warp-ins? If they're role is to grab points, then that is amazing inty piloting because you guys take on alot of BC gangs which can easily kill the Ares.

To be honest I have been in a lot of Alliances over the years and we have 2 inty pilots who are by far the best at what they do by far. The stuff they pull off is amazing, and they are our primary tackle but they also do provide warp ins

In the KZFV fight I (Ares) was holding point on the Archon for most of the fight, normally I would have been holding a point on the primaries but in that particular case the Archon was keeping the fight there. Our other pilot was multi-boxing so he only does what he can manage.

The inty mostly comes down to piloting, personally I am always manually piloting (not using the orbit key) and keeping "situational awareness" (whats near you which direction/angle to orbit at). This for the most part seems to be untaught or simply neglected skill so you don't see it very often. But when you do get pilots that are good at it inty's like the Ares become some of the best tackle in game able to tackle targets in the middle of a large fleet.
