Enemy High-sec mechanics, How exactly does this work all the wiki page says is:

Quote:
Players in FW corporations are attacked by enemy Navy NPCs when entering high-security space belonging to either of their enemy factions.

However an enemy (Minmatar militia, I am Amarr militia) Thrasher undocked from the "Sasiekko III - 24th Imperial Crusade Logistic Support" (0.5 Security) a station I thought they couldn't dock at and proceeded to agress me, I agressed back thinking my npc militia friends would show up on grid and kill him like they do when you have poor security status, however they didn't.

Also the Wiki says nothing about not being able to dock in certain stations however I cannot dock in certain ones.

Today I also killed a Minmatar Militia Nemesis doing a FW mission in lowsec, once I had killed him all the Amarr npcs proceeded to start killing me, even though they do not in the other plexes (also I got tracking disrupted, I thought this was removed).

The wiki and ingame information have been very very unhelpful in teaching the mechanics of factional warfare.

I've experienced nearly all other areas of this game and have learnt them quite well, however nothing has been more confusing than Factional Warfare, I've been getting most of my info on factional warefare from previous patchnotes.

FW mechanics were changed a lot recently, so most likely wiki is out of date. e.g. stations denying docking was added.

Some information about new rules here: http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=28659

(I havn't done any FW myself, so I can't answer about NPC behaviour.)

EDIT: I believe stations only deny docking in FW lowsec, so in highsec you can dock in enemy space.

Thank you but what happens if you enter enemy high sec and leave the gate, do the npcs follow and kill you, because they weren't doing it to this guy,.

There are no restrictions on player ships entering high sec stations. It is only low sec stations that are affected by the new FW docking denial rules.

Sasiekko is an Amarr system in high sec (0.5), so the Amarr faction navy should have turned up and attempted to destroy the Minmatar Militai Thrasher you described. However, they are not as lethal as Concord and with it being a 0.5 system they would have been a bit slow off the mark. I can only assume the guy in question felt he could kill you within about 30 seconds and then warp off before the Amarr navy could arrive, lock and kill him. Where ever he warped to, the Amarr navy would have also spawned after a short delay, but it is perfectly feasible to travel through enemy faction space as long as you don't stay in one place too long.

Don't understand Amarr NPCs turning on you in the FW complex. I can only assume you misread the situation and found the Minmatar pilot running a regular plex or mission with pirate NPCs.

No I didn't misread it, the beacon showed up like something like "Father and Son" and I chased the dude out of it, then the Amarr started shooting me.

Also do the faction pirates chase you from the gate and to the station in the opposing faction's high-sec, like they do when you have a low security status?

If I go to -2.1 pirates will show up when I undock and web me etc in a thrasher, however this guy undocked in Amarr 0.5 space and locked me up and slowly killed me, and no faction navy was to be seen.

Father and Son sounds like a FW mission beacon. not a regular FW plex.

Woo! CSM XI!

Those aren't plex NPCs... so the "rules" governing them might be slightly different/"off."

Also... check your standings towards the Amarr empire. If it's negative in any way then you might be running into a known issue where "friendly" NPCs will prioritize your personal standings higher than your corp standings and/or alignment.

Okay... I see where the confusion is happening.

In high-sec, you have 3 different NPC "enforcers."

Faction Navy: These are the NPCs that go specifically after Faction Warfare enemies in high-sec... they don't care about anything else. Damage-wise, they are the weakest of the NPC "enforcers" and only employ webs and their respective racial Ewar against a hostile FW pilot.

Faction Police: Same as the Faction Navy except they are stronger, will warp disrupt you if you linger around too long, and attack based only on security status and faction standing.

CONCORD: Illegally aggress? They'll show you who's best. CONCORD! CONCORD!! Made a false step? Doesn't matter if you're inept! CONCORD!! CONCORD!! Purely reactive and super effective... they've got your back!! CONCORD!! CONCORD!!! Don't matter if you're fit to tank... they'll bend you over and make you say 'thanks!' CONCORD!! CONCORD!!!

Now... the respective Faction Navy/Police will show up within a certain period of time based the security status of the system. In 0.5 space, the Faction Navy/Police will respond to the presence of a "hostile" within 30 seconds of them landing on grid. If they warp, it will take another 30 seconds for the Faction Navy/Police to show up at the new location they have arrived at.

If you want an answer from CCP; you need to file a petition (you can ask questions, it's not just for when things break)... this is the community forum, you might get a reply from a dev if your lucky and this thread catches their attention for whatever reason. More likely, but not certain, you might get a reply from a volunteer (one of the ISD people). Mostly, when you come onto the community forums, you're asking the community (the best source of "how to" in eve).
