Hi, i recently upgraded my alt to a paid account, and as i used my buddy invite to invite myself, i thought i was going to get the free PLEX or 30 days account. Whats my surprise to discover, 2 days after upgrading it with a cd key my friend had, that i didnt get the plex, and that theres an small button that shows policy, and it says ''cd keys not available for invite''.

Now my question is: will i get the PLEX, or will i have to pay on my alt to get it? or, the bonus is lost forever?


I was actually ready for a player scam (been warned many times, and i dont do silly mistakes on that), but wasnt actually ready against what seems to be a CCP ''Scam'' if you understand it as a trick to avoid paying what should be rightfully mine.


IF its just an unwanted delay on PLEX, i would like to receive it asap. Otherwise, i might not be able to continue one, or both my accounts.

What CD key? You have to actually pay for the upgrade in order to be eligible for the plex.

cd keys dont give the free month if you upgrade a 21 day trial, its been like that since year dot. doesnt matter what cd key. you should have bought a plex.

and lol@CCP scam claim. its all fairly clear.

Buddy-program rules are quite clear: CD-keys are not accepted as payment if you want reward. So you are not going to get any reward.

You don't really need to pay any real money if you have enough ISK. Just buy PLEX with ISK ingame and upgrade account using that PLEX. You then get PLEX "back" as buddy-reward. (Since PLEX is acceptable payment.)

You made the mistake of not reading buddy-program rules. Rules are quite clear, so no scam here.

Did you read the terms and conditions?


Using a CD key to upgrade the account to a paid account is NOT included in the Buddy Program offer.

Period.


Perhaps do some research before ******* moaning like a ******.
