Hey all
Still really new to the game and trying to find my way so the question I have is. Is there any readily available resources or guids on EWarr builds and Tactics? Seems Like something I want to try. I have trained up the basic certs on Ewarr and I have a Blackbird but I'm at a loss on what fittings to use and how best to use them.

Since you have the basic cert it might not be so bad to look into EVE Uni's Rainbow builds.

What i would recommend is, if you plan to be looking into the future of Ewar...-that you work on having good damper skills.

From the discussion in fanfest, CCP plans to "up" dampers again and hit ECM once more. They also plan to buff painters in some way as well as disruptors. You might lose the advantage now, but you will gain it later on. Depends on how soon you want satisfaction. :)

Yes this is long overdue and will finally come to pass

Meta 1 Damp: November 2012
Meta 2 Damp: Febuary 2013
Meta 3 Damp: May 2013
Meta 4 Damp: August 2013
Tech 2 Damp: November 2013

Don't be so disparaging.

lol Lili. Made me smile. Probably true Sad

OP:
Falcon is the next step up from Blackbird. Or the Arazu in the Gallente line. Both are specialty ships and have some pretty standard fits, look in BattleClinic. Both are fun to fly, dangerous to all, game changers in a fleet.

These ships are primary targets when they show up on the battlefield. You will need piloting skills as well as fitting skills.
You WILL lose a few before you get good, BUT, a good recon/ewar pilot is always in demand.

A couple points:
ECM is color coded. There are a lot of fittings, but the COLOR always indicates the race it affects. Set your ships up with a color order, the same, every time. (Blue, Orange, Green, Gold, for instance.)

These are ships where higher skilling is noticable. Recon V, and high levels in Electronics is important.

These are NOT suicide ships. Watch whats going on. Warp away when needed. A dead recon is worthless. A returning recon is always good news.
