Still not fixed since last march? Is it that hard to interrupt cap chain/RR and give a warning message as should be? Only counter to this is the Scimitar/Oneiros right now. Makes 2 ships totally ******. *Cheers* Just as with the GCC, if basi/guardian in the fleet, this thing can't be avoided. So... Not asking if it'll be fixed, asking when. ETA?

For those not happy with this new post about an old subject, cry all you want, I won't come back to see the replies anyway. Simply reminding CCP.

un-corped pirate basi is in incursion fleet with another basi where he must cap chain with them
pirate basi warps away, flips one of his buddies' can who is in a pirate corp. pirate basi now as agro from the pirate corp
pirate basi returns to fleet
fleet enters site and starts up cap chain. all basis in fleet now have agro from pirate corp
pirate corp waltzes in, pops all the basis, waits for fleet to die and loots.

this is something that the incursion community has strived to avoid and does a decent job of.
join 'incursion local' fleets at your own peril.

currently when basi's begin chaining with one another there is no agro pop-up much like when you attempt to rep a war target. OP would like a pop-up instituted.

Not a bad idea imo, would save a fair bit of grief.

Generally speaking, cap chain should be tested while at the gate before entering the site. at this point if you see yourself gain an aggression counter as a pilot you should be on the ball enough to mention it. But then again not everyone pays attention.

look it that!
OP comes to forums looking for solutions and instead finds the spawning of new pirates.

oh well, the more people who know the more likely it'll receive attention.

honestly, I don't know why there isn't an option to show a pop-up ANY time you gain an aggression counter from a new entity; or perhaps more specifically a player entity.

A corpmate just lost his basi to this crap.

This is a seriously broken mechanic.
Your fleet can't even defend the Basi's/retaliate, as they have no kill rights.

When a game mechanic makes Concord favor pirates, that game mechanic is clearly broken.

The longer I play this game, the more I realize it is broken.
