LCO Spacial Phenomenon?

I have found one of these in a lvl 4 mission, it carries the warning: that it may hurtle me to far away places never to be seen again.

Anyone ever risked it?

It just seems to be a bit of a pointless game feature if there can only be a bad outcome from using one.

im pretty sure they are just LCOs with a scary warning but don't really do anything if you do approach it

Update, I could not resist rhe tempation, so I flew into it.

You are right, I just bounced off it.

Pity really, I was mentally prepared to end up in the far reaches of Eve and having to work out how to fly back to my area of space.

IIRC those are the same model as a wormhole...if you probe down a WH it'll look like that, and you can jump through it like a stargate.

Tried to activate it in everything from a Domi down to an Atron.

No use.

Oh well it would have been fun.

Maybe CCP should add these as a random chance based feature in missions.
