In totaly unrelated news, my puppy had knee surgery and has to be carried up and down the stairs. :(

It was fun but I never fully got to know everyone and I got kicked for inactivity. Understandable since I was busy with real life at the time, heh. Seemed to be a cool core group though so nice to know you are still about ♥

Glad you enjoyed your time with us Lol yeah we tend to have to do that when the alliances we are in charge us stupid amounts of money per member. I always voted to kick the alliance and wait for people to come back, but usually got voted down :P

Oh yeah, no beef here. I do remember someone was kicked and was really mad and had a ton of stuff stuck in station that I had to evac for him. I think he blindly handed me a couple of billion of stuff (at a time when It was rare for me to have over 300m in wallet) and I didn't steal it! And I only played on a single character then.

Ah! Memories :) Thanks for reminding me ♥

Hello friends my name is Sky Captain Lyris Chronicles of Narnia in the World of Tomorrow's Goonfleet dot Com, and I have interrupted my war on the Dread Pirate Captain Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Spiced Rum to bring you this breaking news about the status of my kitten whose name is Mittens. Not to be confused with The Mittani, whom is a homo sapiens of Caucasoid coloring with black fur, Mittens the kitten is a felis catus of black and gray tabby coloring with white marking on her paws. Mittens is a joyful and playful kitten whose life is a carousel of wonder and naps; but, recently she has taken to sneezing. I have noticed her sneeze at least twice today, and I fear that she may have been the victim of some sort of cat-terrorism perpetrated by the much older and far more crafty Bojangles, what is also a felis catus but of orange tabby coloring. I will give all my +rep and all my fives to anyone willing to investigate this crime against my kitten and mete out great vengeance and furious anger upon whomsoever shall be found responsible.

Seems to me that the great Mittens of Narnia, developed a devastating allergy to homo sapiens ^^

Kitten update—Mittens has received her distemper shots and is no longer sneezing. She has taken to chasing my mouse cursor across my screen, and likes to paw at my fingers while I am typing. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching outside events from a perch on the window sill, or napping in the sun. She has a peculiar habit of curling herself around my head to sleep at night. Another curious thing about Mittens is the social interactions that I have observed between her and the older, male cat Bojangles. I have two food dishes, one for each cat; Mittens has a smaller dish, and Bojangles has a larger dish. Mittens will usually eat from her own dish, unless Bojangles is eating at the same time; in which case, Mittens will often move to to eat from his dish, and Bojangles will move to hers. They will eat like this for a while, then Mittens will again move to eat from the dish from which Bojangles is eating, and he will again move to the unoccupied one. There is apparently a limit of one feline per dish, with a preference for Mittens; moreover, Mittens seems to prefer whichever dish Bojangles presently occupies. Fascinating!

If anyone reading this thread happens to be a pet psychologist or perhaps a veterinary student, I would love to know why my cats behave in that particular way. Wikipedia is not giving me much information in the way of cat behavior outside of mood signals and mating behavior.

I have postponed pooping reading about your kitten's misfortune. I wish I could offer advice, but I have only seen my kitten sneeze very few times. But alas, as much as I would love to stay, I must visit the lavatory and exercise these intestinal demons of mine. BE GONE ASS SATAN!

Well now, I just happen to be a cat psychologist.

Just kidding. But PROBABLY the reason for such erratic feeding behavior is simply that Mittens the kitten might not yet understand personal space whilst feeding, while mr bojangles is more used it, being a solitary eater. The younger cats usually don't have a filter, so they pester and harrass the older cats in their youthful ignorance, probably thinking no more about it than a toddler.

Damn things, so cute.

Also, I DEMAND KITTY PICTURES.

P.S. - When I read your first post I got sad, because sneezing usually is a symptom of Feline Leukemia(sp?). Glad it wasn't!

Mittens has been healthy in the past month or so; but, I am beginning to believe that she is stupid. She has begun staring at length at our bedside lamp at point-blank range whenever it is lit, until her eyes are watering, then crying about it until we come to turn off the lamp.
