C5 ninja gas mining...just need somebody to point me to the guide and i cans reads for myself.

I lived in a c5 for almost 2 years but I HATE MINING! But due to changes in circumstance I find that I might needs to try my hand at it. I have ganked plenty ferox/whatevertheothershipis gas mining but I nvr bothered to ivestigate the mechanics so......if somebody could point out a current/reliable guide I be on my's way.

Clearly the best ship for ninja gas havesting is a archon or a Moros nobody would ever attack a gas sucking cap syrsly!!

Warp to site, that will start 20 min spawn timer. After 20 min, warp in a fleet that is capable of killing 4 sleeper Battleships. Once the Battleships are gone, warp to gas cloud and start mining. I mean seriously dude, this is not rocket science.

Have a BC. Press F1,F2,F3,F4 and F5. Beat the **** out of the dscan button, or your scout alt's volume settings. Profit.

It's a little more intuitive with gas sucking in a wormhole and you know it.

The best ship to use is a sin. With its drone bonuses, you can keep waroing in and out at range while using sentries. Once sleepers are dead, you start sucking your gas. Your lows need to be cargo expanders and you need to have 2 t2 cargo rigs. If anyone tries to kill you, you are a black ops, alls you have to do is cloak up and move off.

Apart from taking all the usual precautions and clearing the sites of Sleepers as mentioned above I do the following:

Make sure you have Gas Harvesting V as T2 harvesters pull in a much larger volume than T1's letting you get the cloud finished quicker.

Fit for escape and evasion, ECM (usually a burst), ECCM and ECM drones and a cloak. I prefer a cruiser to a BC for gas mining, smaller cargo capacity but aligns and warps much faster in case of trouble.

Have a cloaky hauler on standby at a safe spot for gas pickup.

I disagree on BCs being the best Gas-miners.
Prefer the Moa over them anyday.

Best fit I found for gas mining was this:

Cane

Highs: T2 gas harvestors x5 , probe launcher (no WH ship should ever go without!)

Mids: 2x multispec jammers, webber, scram

Lows: T2 expanders

Rigs: T1 cargo (T2 cargo too xpensive for such a high risk situation)

Drones: 5x ECM

Idea here is to keep spamming the Dscan while you're collecting gas. Since this ship is obviously (to the intelligent) not ment for clearing the site you'll have to do that first.

If you spot someone on Dscan, warp out

If you get jumped, use a happy combination of ECM drones + multispecs to jam the tackler and gtfo

If your opponent is stupid enough to try and jump you with a scanning frig, then tackle HIM and proceed to call upon buddies or alts to blow them to bits "And their little dogs, too"

Second troll boy...If you READ THE OP you will see I am asking for some direction to relevant guides related to.....wait for it...WORMHOLES, in the ....wait here it comes....the wormhole forum and better yet I specifcly state to just point me to them and I can read for myself.

I am however, surprised that you failed to take this opportunity to pontificate about the extensive knowlege you actually have on this subject and instead chose to throw sticks and stones. I am truly sorry for interrupting whatever playtime you were involved in but please remember YOU took the time to reply to this post. Perhaps I posted here instead of jumping right to google because I thought there could possibly be people in the EvE community that enjoyed helping people with questions. I think the reason for the responses is that there really is no guide for gas mining in wormholes. There just isnt that much to it.

My guide.

1. Initiate warp to site, cancel warp
2. Wait 15min.
3. Google Ladar site to find info on what rats to expect if necessary
4. warp to site in combat ship. Kill sleepers. Loot and salvage. Bookmark gas clouds
5. warp to gas clouds in harvesting ship. Try to stay awake spamming dscan while sucking gas, which is more boring than mining.
6. Profit

Actually he is asking about mining without killing sleepers, and there is a spot near smaller cloud in instrumental where sleepers don`t aggress. Though i am not sure about exact way of bookmarking - probably you need to sacrifice a couple of frigs to find it out =)

What you are suggesting, if true, is an exploit and in that case both you and the OP, if the OP is requesting for info on an exploit, have to be reported to CCP.

Ninja mining instrumentals is a common knowledge which got reported to CCP numerous times and if i am not mistaken we've nicked a couple of your corpies on their sucking trip some time ago =)

All you need to do is bring a few scorpions along, and keep all the sleepers jammed.
